I see shinmen playing ruby, I clicc. I cant believe they nerf her, this is outrageous, down with the ppl that made her popular!!1! 🤬
Ok jokes aside, the nerf was a measly slap on the wrist xD if they did the full removal then maybe that would’ve hurt but since they only took away half then its not as bad + the 1st skill slow reduced to 1s is fine cuz its spammable anyways. Aswell as that Ruby at the start of new emblem system was indirectly buffed due to the new fighter emblem and FoB talent giving her massive spellvamp at the start compared to old one, then also later when new Waraxe was introduced is when Ruby truly started to become a little broken xD so this is in all a much needed thing to reduce her ban and pick rate so that my bbg is staying as a balanced hero :’3

For real though she was my favorite hooker 😢😢😔😔
As a Ruby main, the 5% spellvamp and Skill 1 slow duration doesn't really affect her gameplay that much, just equip Bloodlust Axe and Oracle with the fighter emblem, she'll still vamp full health from a minion wave. Her damage doesn't change, so I recommend building her either full-ATK or semi tank with 8K health.
As a self proclaimed ruby hater, I say it matters lot, that BS 2 sec slow was shit,

Cause, conc energy will be turned into a universal spell vamp item
I don't feel the nerf at all as well. Plus I only use the spell vamp from fighter emblem with oracle. Sometimes endless battle (situational)

She is still amazing after the nerf. She is killable now, but far from unplayable
5% isn't much of a loss since your freaking emblems should be fighter to begin with and fighter emblem provides insane spell lifesteal enough as it is... the stat nerf hurts harder. [Which is currently non-existent.]

If I could make a change to Ruby, in comparison to Modern Heroes, I would give her the Brody effect in that she can walk while she does her skill 1(like Brody's basic attack, or Gord's skill 2) into her jumping passive. Unless you play her, you never realize that she pauses before she does it, and it feels very sluggish.

i barely noticed a change, Ruby isnt unplayable or anything worse, in fact she's still absurdly good. Let's be fair, its because she'll still have huge spell vamp once she gets her first spell vamp item and then more spell vamp items after. And oh its not only the spell vamp, its the fact her skills has so low cooldown that she can just control most teamfights however she wanted and easily capture the enemy backline with her Professional Hooker Skills
That's why I use Cici against Yu zhong as I can basically bully him at lv1 and Cici's good kiting is so good at him.
Oh well I can't enjoy these videos anymore, the commentries made them nice to watch, but now it's just like any other ML video
