Emily…that is such a beautiful and informative story on so many levels…u described the generation just before me and I never knew the full story of George Wallace and his asking for forgiveness from Lewis…so powerful/impactful. And to add emphasis to its importance and relevancy to my spiritual journey, my lesson today is 354 “We stand together, Christ and I, in peace and certainty of purpose. And in Him is His Creator, as He is in me. What can I say but…thank you! In gratitude!
Christians generally view Jesus's death as a payment for our sins that the rot inside humanity is too great that distance between us and God is to wide and that Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins so that God would forgive us and that we would go to heaven. Brutal picture isn't it? I do not believe what most Christians believe therefore I am not a Christian either. Thank you dearest Emily this was a helpful reminder that each of us are the light of the world💛☮️ I choose to live in Love ♥️
so helpful to all the teachings as i progress with the work in ACIM its so easy to think the world cannot change its too entrenched. you and robert and many others do such great work thankyou.
'obviously' not a Christian? it's not obvious at all...but it is clear that I wish I could bump into you in an eclectic coffee shoppe and after gathering you were unmarried, invited you to join me on a round-the-world tour as undercover quakers. 'my religion is kindness.' Dalai Lama
