"Today, many of Crane’s ideas may be seen as outdated, but the test can still be used to get a glimpse of what marital norms were like or whether someone would have been seen as a good wife in 1929."
This test takes in count what a good wife was in 1929. You can guess that this test thinks a good wife must be ready for his husband and be only for him, with no other life than staying by his husband's side. If you answer perfectly on every question except you don't go to church, you get a 60% - this quiz *heavily* weighs conservative christian values and it's easy to get 0% just for daring to be independent.

answer these 3 with *often* , (true or not) and you'd score at least 50%.

Around 90's/early 2000's or so, ''Gay'' originally was another word to say ''Happy''. I believe the LGBT adopted the word to express same-sex relationships in 2000's.

to be fair, the test is exclusively based on a wife in 1929, where they were very unnaturally submissive, divorce was like the biggest sin, and if you were getting beat by your spouse as a wife, people would suspect you weren't woman enough or that you deserved it as a woman.
today, its the complete opposite, where men are very unnaturally submissive in the marriage, divorce is like adding to your body count, and if you were getting your ass beat by your gf, and you were a guy, people would assume you deserved it.
