First time hearing this. I listened to them soooo much from like 88-94. Would have loved to have seen this sooner.
I love that the band's "dna" lives on in TSO, but how cool would it be to live in a world in which Savatage had reached that level of recognition instead...

One of my favorite bands. So cool to see this . The camera man obviously had a couple (dozen) but I would have been right there with him \m/ all the way. Kickass show. RIP Criss Oliva

This is amazing. So cool to see this old footage of all the band - but especially, Criss who is no longer with us. Hearing his raw guitar - is amazing. The fans (even though they almost brought the tent down - cool to see them so into Savatage - though most look sloshed out of their minds) :D

I saw them four years after this on the Gutter tour with Trouble at Janus Landing in St. Pete. Still the best show I've ever seen.
Now Jannus Live( or hardly alive) I saw Savatage in Tampa Rock it Club, then Oliva’s Pain in Clearwater State Theater. Both venues are long time gone.🥲

@@XelaHollow thank you, somehow I missed that. Did he work for them or was he a videographer in the area? Did he do other bands? Is he accessible? I only Filmed Savatage one time in 1994, but this above is my favorite line up.
