Coming from Sony originally years ago, I just never really liked the magenta cast that comes out of camera :( I'd love to do some work with the FX6 though. Love the form factor or the C line from Sony. But currently now shooting on the C300 I and II. Can't really beat the colors out of camera imo.
I noticed that as well. I also noticed a similar thing with the Lumix S5, and I think it has something to do with underexposing Log footage. I have learned to overexpose my image with *most* cameras. Longitudinally, most cameras can handle crushing shadows better that restoring mid tones. I think canon does a good job of allowing you to expose properly in camera, and that is why the colors look so good.
What lens?

Awesome footage! Beautiful colors!
That is very kind. Thank you.
