My grout looked just like yours! I mixed peroxide, dish soap, and baking soda. Let it sit for half an hour and then scrubbed. It completely cleaned mine!

I painted over our backsplash tile and grout using the brand epodex and it worked perfectly. They have so many color options and even come with everything you need to get the job done. Also they have 2 different options for the paint: a normal one and one for if it will be exposed to water often (like a bathroom). Super affordable and easy to use too. I was so impressed that I’m going to use them to paint over the tile floor in our laundry room next.
I had to smile seeing you dogs on the bed as you're trying to make it. My dogs used to do the same. I don't get that anymore as they have both passed. It brought back such good memories. ❤

Try American Blinds, they have electric Roman shades for a reasonable price. We priced out Lowes and several other places and they were phenomenally lower. They are an online store. You can also do the bedrooms now and the rest when budget allows. I adore your get it all done videos. They motivate me every time! Fall decorating is always good too- I need the distraction from school restarting 😢
I’ve heard that there’s a spray product called Krud Kutter at Home Depot that’ll get the grout clean!

Hey, heads up when you use baseboard heaters you won't want anything in front of it when they are on ( curtains, carpets toys) they can melt, burn or catch fire to anything up against it. Where we live all the houses have them and they terrify me lol
I have those kinds of heaters in my house and I have no issues. We do move our couch out or it blocks all the heat in the living room and it ends up being too cold.
Some do get hotter than others and it always is wise to practice caution with it. When I moved into the apartment I'm at now, I had to sign a form saying I wouldn't have anything touching the electric heaters. They had fire damage in the past.
This was so motivating , on the grout maybe try zep grout cleaner and brightner it works amazing I'm very surprised how good it cleans

Have you looked in to a rainbow vacuum? It can also be used as an air purifier. I love it so much and it uses water to trap dirt instead of a filter.
I have no grout in my house and I don't miss it at all. LVP in the bathrooms and laundry room.

Congratulations on your summer home.
You asked for suggestions on how to update your bathroom. You might would like to view “This Crazy Lady” and “Lauren Nicholsen” videos they both recommend a paint product call “Beyond” you can paint cabinets, furniture, etc. without having to sand or prep in order to paint. They claim the paint covers very well after two coats and drys fast. The paint goes along way. Both women used this paint to update various rooms of their homes until they were able to renovate. Again, check out their 2023 videos on their new homes updates.

You can never not clean too much lol. I love steam cleaning. When cleaning behind someone who lived in a place I'm at now I clean door handles first and trash toilet paper rolls holder. Trash those and buy new rolls at the nearby store.

Foaming carpet cleaner is great for cleaning grout! Spray it on and let it sit and then scrub and wipe it up! Def open a window though

You could put your bed frame with the headboard in the guest room and the one with no headboard from amazon market place in your room so the view is not blocked at all.
If you have paint splattered on your mirror, you could use a razor blade and scrape it off because I have had to do that in the past also on mirrors and windows that had paint on them. ☺️

Everything is gorg!! I'm sorry to hear that the previous owner was a smoker.. ugh I feel like smoke gets into the walls and carpets of the home. I thought I remember you mentioned it in a prev. vid about getting rid of the carpets which is a great idea and would help massively getting the yucky cigarette smell out of your house. It sucks to have your home not have "your house smell" and instead smell like a smoky strangers home😑 scrap the carpets and the blinds😂😂 and problem solved!

Perfect for deep cleaning today! I'm deep cleaning my entire house and I'm the only one who ever does it. I'm tired of cleaning, cooking and doing everything in this house. So when we moved into this home the floors needed a lot of love. It wasn’t in the budget right away to redo. We found groutable vinyl tiles from either Home Depot or lowes. It was really popular all over Pinterest at the time. We went right over the existing tile. It was light weight and has lasted nine years. It’s like peel and stick vinyl tile. Google it. It’s not hard at all and a weekend project.
