Great Story Sarah!
Thank you dad! Love you!
Sarah you’re as good as JD telling these true stories.
I learned from the best
What a delightful story of determination...
I really liked that the children accepted him... because of the troublemaker goat. Thanks Sarah 🤗❤️
Thank you ma'am!
I’ve picked many a gallon of blackberries in my younker days. I miss them times of course out of every two gallons I probably eat a gallon of’em lollllllllll. Nothing like reaching into the patch and grabbing a handful and gettin a June bug with them. First thing comes to mind is rattlesnake or waspers. Them big berries tasted so good and i couldn’t hide it that I’d been eatin them with my mouth colored dark blue but it was worth it. Thanks for the memories Sarah and JD GOD BLESS y’all Amen 🙏. Y’all need to make CD’s most of us can’t see the best when reading. People like JD are getting old lollllllllllllllllll. I’m just jokin JD.
❤️

This is why some goats end up in a pan with potatoes quicker than others, but i'm glad everything turned out fine!
😂
Very nicely read story. Most small children are scared on their first days of school. However, I had never thought that any boy was ever worrying about their clothes. My sister, brothers, and I wore mostly home made garments to school. Many of the students were lucky to have two sets of clothes to wear anywhere, when I started First Grade back in 1954. My feed sack dresses did the job just fine (we wore them long and too big back then).
thanks for sharing your memories!
I have got to say this was a fun story. I loved it. God bless you and your whole family...🙏🙏🙏

Hey JD and Sarah
Admired the boy, was disgusted that the man thought a goat was payment without asking the parents, but that goat stole the show and the boy was happy. All well that ends well!
💜
👍
Thank you Carl!

Yep, my dad did the same thing in eighth grade never went back and owned the business for the rest of his life
Replace Appalachian mountains with the Ozark mountains in Arkansas, and they are identical to the stories my great-grandmother told me.
❤️
Just because of that goat that his mother told him to sale made friends
yes sir
