I like the idea of moving around and staying in different towns in Bali or even at different islands. Before the ‘C’ word, I usually stayed in Seminyak and traveled around to different islands and places in Bali but always left my things at my rental. I wish to start traveling again once I get some medical things taken care of. Something happened in my life which really changed my priorities and outlook of what I want to do regarding my time, especially.

Safety Wing is what I use for travel insurance as well. I never did use it but I should have because I was bit by a Bali dog a few days before returning to Alaska in 2020. I paid 1.09 million IRD for a rabies vaccination before I left. When I returned to Alaska I had to get rabies vaccination shots from the beginning because it was the European version and not the USA rabies vaccination. So I received a total of 5 shots all together. One needle was so big that after the shot the medicine started oozing out of the needle hole. Lol. It really hurt as well. Lol.

Hey both. Enjoying the channel and podcast! Well done and rooting for you. This video was helpful as my wife and I are planning a six-ish month stint in Bali. Would you still be moving countries if the visa wasn’t so difficult/expensive?
Also, fav sports bar in Bali?
I think we would still be going to check out other countries but the visa issue help us decide, best sports bar is probably “the forge” in Seminyak, but if you’re looking for something cheaper then KO bar in Pererenan is great too.

Do you think Bali is safe for a 17/18 year old?
We've always felt really safe here... however, would they be travelling on their own?
A group might be okay, but they would really need to be careful if partying and we would suggest sticking to Canggu at this time. We probably wouldn't recommend them travelling here by themselves. Hope this helps.
