  • Welcome to the December edition of my Deep Sky Astrophotography Target Guide for the Northern Hemisphere. It is designed to help you choose what targets to image in December (of any year). I plan to release a video like this every month until all 12 months are complete. There is a separate User Guide video aimed at helping you get the most from the monthly guides (see link at the end of the video). Enjoy!

Thank you for making these. Hope the weather improves, last weeks I've been mostly enjoying the most famous target called "The great European Cloud"

Yes, it’s been pretty much cloudy for the last three months! Thankfully these videos apply equally to the same month in any year, so hopefully I haven’t wasted my effort! Clear Skies!

Oh dear! Sorry about that. Is it the voice or music that is bad for you?

@@martinsastrophotography just the narrations. Tons of hiss, muddy, and very quiet. Try recording the audio on a cell phone closer to you and synch it. Cheers!

@@juddjones4306 I use a pretty expensive microphone and I also play it back to make sure it sounds ok. Sounds fine on my PC. Forgive me asking….could it possibly be an issue with your speakers? No-one else has commented on this after 10 editions of the guide videos, all done the same way. Again, sorry to ask, but I need to explore all possible causes.

@@juddjones4306 Update: I just played it back again and turned up the volume… I can hear the noise you are talking about. I will investigate the cause and see if I can fix this for future videos. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

@@martinsastrophotography Nope. Listening on high end headphones running on an amp from my PC. Your music sounds great. Talking head doesn't. It sounds processed mono with a repeating hiss at .5Hz. Still great stuff. Just feedback as I know the effort this takes!
