The east is just expensive. If the park has been around a while it was probably built for 30 foot or shorter campers. Having the dumpster up front you can drop off stuff on your way out, trucks do not need to drive by campers to empty them and there is room for the truck to maneuver. Putting up some kind of fence to make them less of an eyesore would help. Another thing about being on the east coast is making your camper not worth it for someone to try and take. Buddy does good standing there for the bath at least he does not run away. He is a sweet boy. Stay safe and healthy. Almost 25K subs!!!
They actually had the dumpsters in a better place for the truck and they were hidden! They recently moved the to the front, and they are always full and look horrible! We have found the east is more expensive for what you get compared to anywhere else we have been! So close maybe by then end of this series we will hit that milestone!
Thank you! This week we decided to show you guys everything! On Sundays video I ask you guys what you thought about this week of videos, how we filmed them, and if there were things you liked or didn't like and what you want to see more of!

Haha all that electricity in their hair on them Taylor Swift girls of course your son looks pretty chilled out at all times he goes with the flow he's adorable... pretty much every time you wash trucks cars whatever it always rains. Yummy Ribs..looking Fabulous... alrighty have a great day.. very enjoyed the video
@@PavingNewPaths crazy how YTers remember videos they have done and can link to them so quickly. I have a tough time just remembering what I did yesterday. Thanks - I'll take a look at the video. Safe travels.
For me making the video was what makes me remember everything! Not only do I have to live it while filming, I usually watch it 3-5 times while editing it and then one more time when it's complete!
I’m happy when I get up and know that there is a new video but I’m just now watching it because I have been very busy today. I can’t wait till tomorrow to see another video. Love your family.
I've resigned myself to the fact that my truck is a truck. If you think it's tough keeping it clean where you are/where you go, I haven't washed my truck since December in Florida! Tough to wash a dually in Hellinoiz in the winter. Hardly even any self wash places around here anymore. I try to drive my old truck whenever it snows and there's salt on the road, but sometimes you just can't avoid it. Supposed to be nice this weekend, so maybe she gets a bath... The places I've gone, $55-$65/night is normal for a regular kinda place. When I go to Florida, the place I stay at it $87-95/night. Huge spots, very well maintained, but not much as far as special amenities go. I've stayed at $65/night places in Florida, but they were so tight, I was knocking down flower pots folks put right next to the road at their permanent spots because of the tail swing! The extra money is worth not damaging my rig or other stuff... Safe Travels!
Part of our reasoning for the price was we knew every time we had paid $70 or more the places were usually nicer, and bigger! The further north I get you will see I stay at a lot of resorts because I wanted no drama with the truck or the trailer! But what I am finding out is that price in this part of the country doesn't really mean more or bigger, it is just the price for RV spots here!
Thank you! We have been closer for sure but the price was also in were saving money range for the night! This was the first time we were so close for the price we were paying! But as were finding out the further North We go the tighter and more expensive they places are getting!
Ok Kevin you made me spit my coffee with the Phil’s chair bit. And to have Phil there too. So funny. Great having a down day and even better having those ribs!!!
Why all my stuff is white, truck and RV. Easy maintenance. Less heat absorption too. When it is dirty, still doesn't look bad like a black truck would. The more NE you move, you can expect even higher prices than $71. What would a monthly cost there?
We talk about that some! We think that is just the prices for the part of the country! We are used to anything approaching $70 is resort type! This place was great but it wasn't $70 a night great! One person told us it $1900 a month there! In Texas we get monthly spots for $450 a month!
Would it be worth it to pack a collapsable bucket and microfiber truck mop to help save your paint? How is clean up of the pellet grill? I love my Blackstone for ease of cleaning, however, my old RV grill clean up was horrible. Due to the season and location you'll pay, just like other places you have seen on the east coast. 25 to 125 a night is the range I have seen from CT to NC. 70 is about average for full hookup near anything. I have a few favorites that are lower cost, but they are mostly campgrounds to go to with the intent of doing nothing or not much.
I have a a bucket and have tried to hand wash at those places! I always run out of money or time before I can finish, and usually most places I don't want to be the guy taking the bay up longer! It has worked if I have a second person, one to spray while I wash! The pellet grill is easy to clean after each use, as long as you do a good clean like once a month! Clean up the ash pot, the heat shields and the grates Takes about 10 min if you stay on top of it! We are used to everywhere else we have been $70 or more is a resort type place! We are finding that $70 is an average place on the east coast!
It's because I know what happens every time, I have filmed myself washing the truck! I get 100 comments telling me not to do that! I know how bad it is for the truck, but when you travel fulltime your left with few choices on how to wash a dually!
@Paving New Paths oh believe me, I understand. I'm not a car expert or even an RVer (😞). It was the timing of your explanation of using it that struck me funny. God bless you guys. I always enjoy your videos!

So, do the kids eat ribs too? I couldn't ever get little kids to eat them. Ashlyn's crocs are cool! My granddaughter would love those. Hers are just solid pink.
Yes, the kids will eat most every meat Kevin grills, as long as there isn't a hot seasoning on it! Ashlyn got those Crocs from her older cousin, who is a fashionista! She loves them! We are near a Crocs store this week, so we are hoping to get new ones like them since she is outgrowing them!
I loved this video. I’m going to share it with my son in hopes to get some ribs. Plus you know you win with Phil’s chair. I’m going to Clearwater Beach for today and tomorrow and I will be sporting Phil’s chair shirt. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! We cook often in the parks and it's a good way to meet the neighbors! I have been trying to figure out how to get Phil and his chair back on the videos!
My favorite is ribs! I have called them bones since I could talk! Those looked so yummy. What was the wet mixture you cooked them in? I couldn’t hear what you said. I am going to look up that pit boss. We have an electric smoker, but I don’t always want that smoked flavor 🤷♀️. I suppose I could do them in the oven. We don’t have room for a pit boss in our #Van. I like the cooking videos. It’s all good. Be safe ❤️
We used a mixture of water, and the apple Chipotle BBQ sauce and some of the honey pecan rub all from Kosmos Q! The travel Pitboss is super small and works well for us on the road! I used to have the big one at our house, now this is the one that allows me to still enjoy cooking while living on the road!
LOL as an empty nester now, we forget how much stuff young one's leave behind. We did more of the atv stuff so the food got dropped outside but the dirt was inside. We still do the atv thing but the inside stay's much cleaner. We will see how that works in another month when the grand kids spend a couple of weeks with us. We have kind of been following you on the road. Think we kind of have the same travel plans. Hope our paths cross would love to meet you. Those ribs look awesome was hungry watching them cook

Thank you so much! We really appreciate you watching and are glad you enjoy the content! Sorry I hurt your feelings with the F450 video! The idea came from so many guy in RV parks with F450's telling me I had the wrong truck to pull my RV! I wanted the F450 when we started but It just didn't make sense for our rig and setup! If you think the truck looks good now we have a video coming up where I do a full polish and wax and man is it looking great now!
70 ?! We paid $145 a night at West Glacier Rv Park last year and we are going back .We checked at the KOA and it was 200 a night! crazy ! Need less to say that’s a big negative .
We stayed at the North American RV park just outside Glacier and it was $51 a night, this was back in 2021! $100 a night is where I stop looking at places! We have stayed at some that are around that, but I usually filter all those out of my searches! Living fulltime we could never justify that kind of cost all the time! This place was nice but it wasn't $70 a night nice, more like $50!

@@PavingNewPaths Of course you know I was joking about my feelings but take care and have a great weekend holiday!😁
Those ribs looks really good. I'll take some lol great video
Thank you! BBQ is a hobby of mine that I really enjoy! I may not be a pro, but I sure meet a lot of new neighbors every time I cook something!
@PavingNewPaths if yall were my neighbors, I would pay for some amazing bbq. Nothing is better then a Texan cooking bbq.
Where do you get Cosmo Q?
We get them off of Amazon now here amzn.to/3QXbXHB
He is also showing up in Walmarts now so you can find a few there!
I have a big chocolate lab that hates water bath, rain and even swimming wants nothing to do with it
Though labs were supposed to love the water! Not ours, he is broken, hates it!
