Kim Basinger (the actress playing the corpse of Tom’s affections in this video) said that she had a lot of fun on this shoot! She said that Tom was really a very shy man, which was fine by her because she was also fairly shy herself. They broke down giggling more times than either could count and she said he was incredibly sweet to work with. That made me happy.

Always loved this musician. This song brings an additional smile to my face. My son was 5 when this came out, and he always giggled when he heard the lyric "She's standing in her underwear." Lost my son in 2011, and this song always brought back a sweet, fun memory. RIP Tom Petty.

Since I was a child I listened to Tom, My dad had all of his albums... I am crying right now, he is a part of my childhood. His sound, his lyrics, the songs were spectacular. He really was the last DJ. We'll never see anyone like him anymore. I listen to a lot of music. He is unique, and I say this only to few musicians, such as Joe Jackson or Frank Zappa. He was a legend of Rock. He surely has written the history of music. We all miss you Tom. We'll met in the great wide open, someday, maybe...

Don't hate me. I was hacking a taxi in Austin and taking 2 gentlemen to the Frank Erwin center. Asked who was playing and when they said Tom Petty I told them I was done for the night and went in after dropping them off. May 2nd, 2017. Not my first Tom Petty concert, but definitely one of his best.

My favorite lines are the chorus and "You never slow down, You never grow old ". Just genius.
