Long-eared owl Capital of the World

This year I get to spend Christmas and New year in Serbia photographing the wildlife. I start with a visit to the town of Kikinda, which can have 700-800 Long-eared owls roosting in the town centre.
I use the OM-1 mk2 and the 150-400mm lens, but the hard part is finding an owl that will open its eyes and look at you. They just sit on the high branches sleeping. Eventually I get lucky and one bird pays attention to me and follows me with its eyes as I walk around.
I also vist Lake Palic where there was opportunity for some bird in flight photography.
