I love this set, my friends got me into this 8 months ago, and I decided to dive in with every release since then usually buying a few boosters to test my luck. I was encouraged to play my first precon by the employees of the LGS plus I preordered the endless punishment deck, I got my butt handed to me at the event due to not getting any enchantments, understanding rooms and opponent enchantments but, I pulled some of the best cards which in addition to 4 extra packs I bought I managed to build a room 5 multicolor commander deck which is alot of fun to play with the various mechanics in the set. The endless punishment deck is pretty fun as well.
Love that the packaging around the box for the prerelease can turn into a little diorama. And the punch-outs are better, since they're double sided. And I like the two colored pieces to put on locked door card halves. But all that is the cheap extras of course.
Honestly… from what I’ve seen, there’s no real point getting a collectors unless your chasing the most expensive cards. Otherwise I think the play booster packs are pretty good
@@internationalarmy3984actually, mathwise collector booster is always more worth it dollar to card ratio wise. Because its 1 collector cost the same as 5 play booster. And you technically have 1 guaranteed rare in 1 play booster and 5 rares in 1 collector You got barely any common and uncommon in collectors. So if u want bulk play booster is better Now the chance. Play booster hav 12% on average for mythic. While collector have around 22~% for 4 slot and 13% for the final slot. Or in tldr way almost 20% for mythic rare in 1 collector. So in 1 collector you have double the chance to get mythic and even better because variant art. And 1 collector have 5 slots for rare so 5 pack in 1
I played two pre-releases and both my packs had a decent selection of cards. It was very hit and miss though. One guy I played had four mythics and eight rares, all of them on colour 😲 I've not bought a bundle yet but I'm tempted after seeing this video.
Thanks for the honesty, and for the preview of what to expect with these bundles - honestly as far as the recording errors go, they aren't too severe. I think you handled all of the less than ideal elements pretty well. And acknowledging those errors speaks volumes to your character. Thank you for being one of the creators that reminds us that this platform is still full of real people.

As a Canadian 40$ for a bundle sounds like a gift from the MTG gods... Edit: also oddly small difference I notice was your bonus content pack was wrapped in plastic where as mine had two unmarked paper packs that carried the foiled lands and non foiled separately
Just returning to MtG due to recently starting my Dr Who decks and really interested in this new release because of the 80s/90s horror movie inspiration.
Technical difficulties aside, I do enjoy the unique aspect of the channel. I wish the bundle came with a few more Duskmourn-related things like the Pre-Release kit, but I'm still in team Bundle.

Even though it does not glow in the dark, the dice in the bundles are always really nice.
