Hello. I haven't even started watching your series yet, which I will start soon. the fact that you make up a narrative for your build tells me you build with imagination. My favourite kind of CS player.
another excellent build - really like the hardware store and the bluffs. The hardware store makes so much sense - it's near a marshland so it wouldn't get zoned for residential or office - really creative use of the "muscle car garage" - never thought to remove the junkyard part and make it fit another purpose.
Just found your channel. Your detailing is impeccable! CS2 needs block assets like CS1. That way you could make those trailers functional. One bit of detail I'd add to the "bad" trailer park is a few cars parked right on the grass. 🤣 Anyway, you got a SUB from me! ❤
Yes those blocks would come in very handy. I've made all of these "tourist" areas without any tourist. I would love to have people visit them. Cars on the grass would of been a nice touch. Still lots of stuff to build and I imagine these won't be the only parks around.
Somehow, the last 3 months of work felt like it was on a new map. I had no idea you were just continuing in a new area haha. The aerial shots clarified that, thanks. I suggest, with all the dense forests around the area, that the family atop the hill made a fortune on producing and selling lumber locally and in the wider region. Especially during the gilded age when a lot of cities used more lumber in general. Now the family keeps the company to itself but as times have changed the profit margins have decreased. None the less, the family has a lot of old wealth, and obviously have reinvested it in other business opportunities. I would suggest making a large timber depot with adjecent work areas somewhere in the region to supplement the family lore.
I would also like to put forward a name suggestion for the family. Bauholz, which means building timber in German, sounds kind of cool. Company could be something like Bauholz T&W (timber and wood) LLC. or similar.
Those are all great ideas and I have been considering lumber. It's really unfortunate that the base game didn't really include any of that type of industry, future DLC I I'm guessing. There is Clear Cut Paper Products though.....
Imagine that perfectly situated house by the river @23:42 but the view to the river is being blocked by trees and bushes besides the fact that you don't practically have access to it. Kinda feel bad if I'm the home owner lol
Lol, I didn't even think about it when I was placing it. I was very concerned with the views for everyone living up on the bluffs but didn't think about it here. Of course if they had a view of the river they would also have a view of the bad trailer park as well. So maybe not all bad.
@@Gyffes-678then it's good. It's more realistic. When you were just starting, one thing I noticed about you is you follow traversing cars to have an idea of what the surroundings would look like, and I liked it a lot cause that's also what I do when building mine.
I like the world I make to feel like it could be an actual place you could go visit so how it looks from the vantage point of roads and rails and such is important. I just wish we had programable routes in game so I could film some proper drive throughs.
It's interesting. I've noticed that as well. I'm not doing anything special. I'm using the graphic settings as is, right out of the box without any tweaking except for reducing the cloud cover. A lot of people are using Lumina to change the graphical settings for their games. If I didn't know any better I'd say they were unconsciously changing the color settings to make more closely resemble CS1. I've also seen some rather creative uses as well. Also a lot of people turn of the atmospheric light scattering effects, that haze as you look off into the distance. I've been playing with it on for the whole time and if I try to turn it off now it looks unnatural. I also use time of day to my advantage while filming the cinematics at the beginning and end. The game looks it's best in early morning or sunset, but not the best for normal game play. I'm also playing on a 32:9 monitor. That's how I'm filming the letterboxed cinematics at the beginning and end. It also has the effect of enhancing the perspective in game. It makes the game world look much more expansive. Things seem to be farther away. I have much more horizontal viewing space than vertical. Surprisingly the traditional top down view for city builders feels cramped and I spend much more time looking head on into the landscape. It just feels more natural that way.
The fact that you have less than 1k subs is actually insane. Your detailing is amazing.
Right? So underrated!
Awesome detailing work - super cool
The cinema-Style of the cinematics is great....
Can’t help but watch to the end my friend! Great content from a great creator! I look forward to your videos
Another incredible video 🙏
your detailed work is just fantastic, I love it
Great job! I love the music you use.
Deserves more views 🔥
Love the vibes of the video and the detailed building man!
wonderful
I very much like your style of voice overs. Barely any yapping at all. Just a short and quick explanation of what you're doing :)

Thank you, I hope you enjoy it. The narrative kind of evolves as I go. It's nice to hear people enjoy it.
Another great video - thank you!
Thanks for using my suggestion!
Like I said in the video. I rarely ever look at the map top down like that. I'll have to start doing that more often.
Another great episode.

Yeah once you get rid of all the junk it's a very useful building.

Could you include all the mods you are using for your builds please and Thank you Nice work. Good Show
Thank you, and yes I'm putting together a list. Hopefully I'll have it up this week some time.
what mods you sub?
I still need to put together a proper list. Keep an eye on the Community Page. I'll put up a list when I get a chance.
