- This is a small clip showing our pre work, After the engine is buildt up, we test it with water etc so its OK for a dyno run, No leaks etc. When the engine is ready we can ship it to the customer with a nice laminated test result showing the real numbers.
Awesome! This is exactly what I want for my '95 F150. Was looking at the new 2.8 Cummins crate engine, I think this one is a lot better. Like the fact of no electronics and that it can run on veg oil.
One of the best diesel engines ever made. Now put that in a G with a 5-speed MB strengthened automatic...
The highest spec 5 speed can take more than 1000nm und 600horses, so no need to strengthen. If you take the first gen 7G, that can take up to 730nm so also good and it'll run properly with few inputs. Give it the rear end of the E500 or E420CDi and you'll have low rpm at cruising speed and good connection from each gear and not a too short ratio from a standstill, to make it feel nervous

You can go check out dieselpumpuk channel. He makes all the performance part you need for the Mercedes om606 and can get way more power than this using a mechanical injection pump. He does with stock internal parts cause these engines are beefy from the factory. Go check his channel out. I'm putting one in my 98 jeep wrangler and my 00 Wrangler
@@TheLantzMann dieselmeken makes parts aswell you know, and a bit cheaper too.
it is impossible to make power without smoke, this is an old engine, smoke emission at that time was different than now. So it doesn't need any smoke controlling system at that time. However, it is a true legend.
I would be interested to know what rpm turbo realistically spools up at!

Hi. Do you conwert pump 2,5 om 602 engine without turbo for turbo diesel?. ( do you will use ALDA?) do you know whether it will be work?
i have a 99 210 wagon with gas engine and want to covert it to diesel with the om606 turbo diesel and mechanical pump. what would i need ?
I have a question . Two screws holding the injection pump or broken at that moment started to smoke and go off. I gave the pump down and I gave the maximum left wheel goes ok it does not smoke anymore but it does not have the wind and it sounds very tangy how can i set up and I pump to go as before

So u made 400+ hp without smoke or you just hiding smoking scene..... I am aiming for 350-380hp as less smoke as possible from om605 (i would like to be completly smokeless 🤔)

@@amerbeganovic2259 a mechanical pump can’t be ‘remapped’ you turn screws to adjust fuelling, and about the smoke due to the massive turbo and antiquated fuel system it’s very hard to get smokeless om606’s unless you have tiny turbo

It must be 606 td only td have oil cooling of the pistons.if you have done everyfing....pump7.5/turbo hx35/cooler1_1m.everyfing.(try hange fuel pump to603manual,and big turbo hx and cooler big.has a large stock
