Very good and detailed video. Hats off to Marc! Amazing system and all the stats and options wow! Makes dart players connected is another big plus. However, sadly it is not an easy to get equipment as its quite pricey.

@@wizeguygaming1Your mind is going to slowly get worse at working out your score or checkout when not using a Scolia as you won’t be calculating them much when using the Scolia. This is the only reason I wouldn’t get one, oh and it’s stupidly expensive

Great video. This presentation is miles ahead of anything Scolia puts out itself. They should really do better in that respect. Because this vid really shows the ease of use and features of the product. The product needs the exposure :)
I'm planning on picking one of these up in the next few weeks possibly. So this video really came at a great time and is helping me pull the trigger. Guess I'll be ordering from Dartshopper.
The one concern I have is the mounting ring itself. The material appears to be just high density packing foam? I'm not really a fan of that. I know that it needs to be light weight for mounting purposes. But longer term I have concerns about durability. For this price point I'd like potentially a molded plastic or something else. I'm a U.S. buyer so this is several hundreds more to purchase here (exchange rate makes this $1200 or so excluding shipping) , so even more so of a concern.
Do they offer replacement mounting rings separately? I'd be fine with it if I knew I could pick up a replacement for maybe $20 if the ring was damaged. Not so much if I'm not able to replace the foam ring if I needed to.
The spark foam lighting ring is available separately but not cheaply as far as I know. TBH the dense foam shouldn't break through normal play nor should it really be hit very often so I wouldn't worry! thanks for the compliment on the video! I do try!

Subscription after purchase? It costs at least 100 Euros per year to be allowed to throw more than 33 darts a day (1000 per month)? Did I read this correctly? Even if I just want the counter for games in my room without online games and analysis?

@@TommyBoii4 I play darts in a regional e-dart league. Always throwing coins into this thing adds up as well. So I could maybe accept a subscrition for online games, statistics and so on. But if I just want to throw some darts conveniently alone or at home with friends, this should not add cost to this extent.
just spend a little more for the scolia home. dont get the flex option. the home has no monthly fees and unlimited darts. just beware ordering from this company. ordered mine a month ago and the shipping hasnt moved out of netherlands and they have zero customer service and their phone number isnt working

How much wider is the over surround than the surround it hangs on? My setup is on a door. I don’t want to buy this and I’m unable to open my door if too big.
Doubt you'd be able to open your door with the scolia. Cause it's not only wider, it has more depth, so it will stick out much further onto of being wider than your door.
Needs mounting on a wall specifies this on there website would you really want to hang £800 on a door though 😂

Apparently has a monthly subscription though, so will cost more than this in the long run (so I’ve heard).
I’m a target fan boy and I’ll tell you right now the omni is nowhere near as advanced as this, it’s basically DartCounter with cameras and you can only play on DartCounter and I don’t think it will work out any cheaper as you buy it all separately

It's not hard once it's setup you turn it on, select what you want to play and throw pretty much!

Probably a combo of greed and wasting money trying to build their online community and such when they should have tried to partner with game developers at Steam.
This system is undoubtedly very good but nearly £800 to use their software is absurd as the actual product is a surround and 3 cameras
and a light system and an interface with update software.

@@danx6223there is nothing on the market that dose what the scolia dose that’s why they can charge so much. You can make your own with web cams but you wouldn’t be able to play other people on scolia
