I've been making such cars myself for few years already, but I was using realistically constructed chassis that lets the panels fall of in a planned way and a rubber band suspension
Cool! Can I see it? I was also using a similar technique in my previous car (actually, it’s my first cake), but as you can see, the ball joints work well. So, I can build larger scale cars in the near future 🙂
I say that BeamNG cars are more fragile compared to real life cars. - Cars on BeamNG lose will snap a wheel at 5 km/h, which never happen in real life. - Body panels flap like paper. - Acceleration cause all body panels to wobble. I don't get why all people think BeamNG is 100% realistic?
@@automation7295 I know what you're talking about and I totally agree with you. These are usually poor modeling errors. In general, this simulator is the most advanced and is still evolving, moving in a good direction since it is based on the laws of physics. To create 100% realism, you would need to model the entire car down to every screw instead of making fixing points. This can be done with this game, but what computer could handle that?

I believe that all of us, when we were 10 years old, wanted to have a toy with damage physics. Back in my day, I used to make them out of sticks and cardboard 😅
This is so cool! If that was what lego actually produced instead of overpriced normal cars where you pay half of the price for the license, i would buy lego more often! Do you have the build plans somewhere? I think it would be cool if the covet was available on this lego site where you can build them digitally and get the tutorial for it.
That's why never buy new sets from shop 😁my plans is to keep focus on channel, someday leave my job and complete full list of BeamNG cars. And also I half-made my first instruction of Pigeon v2.0, check it in my latest video 😉

@@Brickliantic well I was moving relitively slow about 20 kmph, and I think they were going 50-70 kmph. I got rear ended off-center and combined with me instantly braking felt like I was Jackknifing without a trailer. The car spun to the right and I was steering left, eventually I regained steering. As for the sound, I heard their tires chirp from I assume steering to the left to try and avoid me, and then a big ass thud, followed by a second thud as they hit me again cus I slowed down faster than them. I don't know how to describe the thud noise, but it's pretty similar to the slow motion crashing from the video, less higher pitch noise though.

i thought u said soviet not covet
its actually pretty accurate, the cars body in the game is pretty rigid with not much of a crumple zone.
I don't know why, but watching BeamNG crashes is satisfying. How did you construct the Lego car to be that fragile?
It's just a petrolhead's addiction to watch crash compilations. 😅 I used ball joints in the frame to allow body parts to move in all directions
