Christians don’t even know what they worship. Lent is weeping for Tamuz, the ancient babylonian god, and Easter is simply a play on the word Ishtar, and the worship of her... wondered why you collected “bloody” eggs as a child? And Saturnalia, the feast celebration of the winter solstice tied once again to the worship of the Babylonian gods, Jeremiah 10... deck it with “silver and gold”? Anyone? Lastly, the worst offense, applying the characteristics of Serapis Christus, that grecian-egyptian imagination, to, what he calls himself, the bright and morning star and blood descendant of the LORD’s faithful servant David (Rev 22:16). I guess that’s what happens when you go to a place where people confuse you for someone else and call your disciples “Christians”. "Easter" shows up in Anglo-saxon + German areas, where as nearly everywhere else the name betrays that "Easter" is a rebrand of Pesach (Hebrew meaning "Passover"; which Jesus was Jewish as many Christians weirdly forget; but I digress) Greek: Paskha, Finnish: Pääsiäinen, Italian: Pasqua, Swedish: Påsk, Welsh: Pasg, etc.
For those curious on the lasombras eldritch power, think of the lasombra as the darkness to the salubris light. Now i dont mean metaphoricly,in that instance youd want a setite or tzimice. Literaly, the lasombra play with a force perhaps as ancient if not older then caine himself, with obtenebration being one of the few diciplines that were created through powers not of the blood. Other examples would be the origins of the tremeres hermetic blood sorcery and rituals or more famously, the salubri dicipline obeah/valeren or the baalis daimonion. Sure any catiff can learn obtenebration, but when used by a lasombra,it is a power rightfully feared. For it was the darkness caine was banished by uriel, and that abyss of darkness beyond the mortal plane is what the lasombra bring to bear when they fight. For whenever you walk, even your very shadow could be a weapon the lasombra would use. Remember that the kiasyd are one of the few things that disturb even clan tzimice. And there is a reason for that. While the tzimice play at casting off there humanity, every lasombra is on the knives edge, with many being consumed by the darkness of the void they call. And those who still live to see another night are the most dangerous of lasombra. For in the darkness,is the clan of shadows. The banu haqim and nosferatu may hide in the shadow. But the lasombra was born in such darkness and molded by it. Many clans have there claim of power, but the lasombra? They are quite literally the most powerful, for the darkness they wield,is as horrible as it is comforting to the lasombra. And when gehenna rises, the clan of darkness will either stay such...or be burned by the light.
