Ever since Jerry is like that, he is so serious on his craft, i remember when he made his album , he put so much effort in it, that he really studied voice lesson ,because he felt among f4 he was not the best singer. He also says that he is slow to warm up on people even to his close friends especially when they did not see each other for so long, but he can also be playful with his friend. He looks cold at times, that is why a lot of people misunderstood him. Among f4 Ken knows him best. He is so filial and loves his mother so much, because he saw how her mother struggle raising them alone, he promise himself he will give his mother a better life, so at a young age, he already work. He had a crush on a school mate, but he was the type who were happy enough just to admire the girl she likes from a far. I miss you Jerry, back in the days when all i think about was you, though, i have other celebrity crushes now, but you are still in the center of my heart! Wo shi shende shende shende hen ai ni!
Some people are more introverted and don't make friends easy... thus others may perceive them as cold. Truth is they don't make friends easily, but when they do they're loyal for life and they look only for serious friendship-someone to be loyal back.

Artists or actors/actress from my golden era (80's - 90s) is really hardworking and fully express their characters by their own understanding (I try to mean that they really into/absord the character as their own). They can truly deliver emotion scenes flawlessly) 😉. That's why, I still fangirling these artist till now, including him😊

Jerry Yan is a great actor . He really work hard to get into the character he's portraying. Hope to see him do more action films and serious dramas, I like him best in Loving, Never Forgetting. Hopefully, someday he'll join the long list of Asian actors who made it to Hollywood - where talent counts the most, not age. Matt Damon, Ben Ben Afflect, Johnny Dep, George Takei, Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt, Jackie Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, Randall Park, Jet Li, Chow Yun-fat (one of my favorites). Some of these Asian Hollywood actors didn't speak English that well and made it.

ShenYue is like a mei mei- correct me if I'm wrong (little sister) to him, a 42 year old guy. Of course you will cried out due to the shock of your gentle brother/cold brother being mad at you. Its freaking scared the shit of me cause it happened to me too.

They had guest appearance along with Ken Chou and the other member of 2018 F4 (Idk his name) in a Chinese TV show called Ace Vs Ace. In one of the segments, they acted one of the scenes of MG2001. They both did well in acting that part and I think that was the catalyst of pairing them together in a romcom series. Basically, I think, the producers want to sell the idea of having the original Dao Ming Si and the 2018 San Cai together in a series and it apparently was successful despite the issues surrounding their age gap.
