    If it’s boring and overlooked, it’s probably a fundamental. Outjabbing the opponent, parrying, bodyshots. I blame casual fans for dumbing the down the sport. They don’t score jabs and bodyshots

    @15:45: to add to this point, one thing I have learned is what is called "closing the door". The idea there is that whenever you finish your combination your weight should mostly rest on your back leg again. so after throwing a right handed punch your weight will now rest on your left leg. But to be defensively responsible you should add either a jab or left hook, such that you can assume the basic stance which was mentioned in the beginning. Another thing is to weave from left to right, which is defensively good, because you can evade a right hand or left hook from your opponent to your head and distribute the weight on to the right leg again. This advice has been really good for my sparring sessions ^^
    Great video as always, Jamie!

      @Theiron2142 27 дней назад +2

      Think about it like a compass, your weight is going from one hip to the other,east to west or west to east, your weight isint going south to north or north to south, youre not leaning forward or back on either quad, the weight goes to the left hip or the right hip.

    I think there’s something to be said for having a thoughtful, methodical, and open minded S&C experts for Boxers and other Martial Arts in general to help with their training/improve performance. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having one, let alone using one to the fullest advantage. Bivol, Beterbiev, Crawford, Canelo, Benavidez, Bernard Hopkins, and others have used them before to where it SUPPLEMENTS their Boxing not make it a MAIN STAY in their routine. That’s where many fighters go wrong, to which I agree is an increasing issue. Obviously one should aspire to get a phd in the sport they partake in ALWAYS, and have a masters in the other things that adds to it. Anyway, great video as always! Its almost like people are trying to reinvent the wheel with fancy non boxing drills to look good for social media. Its like when people say how do you increase punch power, do this do that, do this, do that fancy this fancy that. No one talks about hitting a heavy bag hard with brute force anymore, heavy hands, and follow through. Look at the old school champs like Tyson hit a heavybag with power....then see where their power is. Its not rocket science....but no one wants to hit the heavybag with power anymore because its painful... but instead want to touch hit the heavy bag to look fancy then complain they cant develop power. Like injured brittle hands ok i get it sure thats a different thing. But you want power....hit a heavybag hard strengthen your hands, wrists and develop punch resistance and power over time.

    I think this shift of strength & conditioning it’s the boxing industry’s fault and also the fighters, they go to the gym so they can KO people out in the least amount of rounds because that’s were the money is and that’s were all rewards now come from sadly , of course without fundamentals well as we see it most times it looks like bodybuilders trying to swing for the fences but now a days technique fights are boring for most people and boring fighters don’t get paid well because fans don’t understand high level boxing, the sport has grown because of the crazy KOs people love but that doesn’t mean they know boxing… so in conclusion it’s everyone’s fault so that’s why boxing is at a all time low🤣

    This video is basically all 5% truths but straight lies after the info about pasteurization being invented for improving alcohol quality. The real story is In the early 1900s when more people started Living in cities they put a lot of small dairy farms next to distilleries
    The cows that remained indoors were fed the spit grains from the distilleries that made them extremely sick, they'd have to add chalk to the milk to make it white because it was so watery. This food is an alcohol bi product called swill . Those cows got tuberculosis and it spread like wildfire through those commercial Farms. After this the pasteurization method came about and made this sickly milk drinkable without killing you.
    A main fear of raw milk is e coli..which started in the commercial dairies. When they eat a lot of grain their rumin become acidic. With grass-fed raw milk their rumen is fairly neutral so even if they have E coli and it gets into the milk the acid in our stomachs would kill it, but the cows that eat grain at the commercial Farms Rumin is acidic so the E coli has evolve to withstand the acid from the rumin. So the main people who proliferated the danger from e coli started the problem with their commercial milk...
    Long story short..blackrock\ giant corporations are the actual cause of harm in almost every topic from milk to seed oils to the house prices.
