But now that i’m working and have a good salary like you, even though it’s still crazy pricey, I felt that if I want it I need to grab it now because it will still never be cheaper. I got the PA Damier Azur today even tho I went there for the monogram and of course, they don't have it. But I was so happy anyway when my SA came out from the back with Azur! I knew I will regret it forever if I don't get it today 😅 she was surprised too that they have it in store because she haven't seen it in store for years! I luck out on this unicorn 🦄 it's a graduation gift to myself 🥰
I am indecisive if I should get one of these or the double zipped Pochette in Monogram leather, the latter appeals more, except I wish they had it in other colours in the leather, or the red & black combo.
I haven't seen a double zipped pochette in person myself, but I remember another RUclipsr saying that since it's 2 zippered compartments split in half, you're kind of limited on what you can put in because you can't put thicker items inside, just flatter items that fit in the zipped "halves" if that makes sense. For me, the appeal for the regular pochette accessories is that you're not limited in space by any kind of middle divider.
Love this bag, but never liked the strap that comes with the bag. Not sure what LV was thinking when they decided to go with a strap you have to keep looping thru. I like the chain so much better.

Agree with your conclusion. I've been stalking the azure for nearly 3 yrs... After the Feb 2022 price increase, it became available - £890. I already have mono, which I purchased for £565 in Jan 2021. Anyway, UPS have just delivered it & I'm torn due to cost. However, know if I return, I probably won't be able to get it out of my head & imo LV/Gucci canvas is extremely durable. Have also, the mini pochette in mono due...
If you know you want be able to get it out of your head, and you can reasonably afford it, keep it! You’re bound to love and use it. Worst case, you can sell it later down the line, and if there have been more price increases, you could possibly make back around what you originally spent on it.
Is DA easy to use?? I’m a clumsy person 😖 afraid that I might make a beautiful white bag get dirty. I found this print when I went to the shop but I refused to get her because of this reason. I’m waiting for monogram but it’s so hard to get. I only see in DA print. Thank you for making this content. I keep asking myself is it worth to buy because I just started to collect lv pieces >
So far I’ve been able to keep it clean, I even took it on a trip to Europe with me. I’m just careful not to leave it on the ground or anything, and try to wipe it with a non-alcohol baby wipe after use. Since it’s a smaller piece, I was ok getting the DA print. I probably wouldn’t get DA for a bigger bag, especially one that would easily rub on my jeans.
LV may remove this from the website, here in Aus they have already removed the mini pochette. They are trying to push through all their more expensive newer items (fast fashion), their intimidating sale tactics are also centred at pushing towards their more expensive fast fashion items and are slowly getting rid of their monogram items. LVMH was also doing quite well on the stock market. It seems that greed has no boundaries. I am so turned off LV now. Will never waste a single dollar on them again. Their quality heritage and travel convenience is dying. They are focussing on selling expensive rubbish now.
They definitely pushed the Capucine pretty hard the last time I was at a U.S. store. This was before the latest huge price increase. I think for things like that, it's better and cheaper to buy pre-loved.
My SA in Vegas presented me with the Damier Azure PA(priced at $1050) but I have to say no😪 since I wanted the Monogram. I know it's hard to get by and even with the new price I will still get it because yeah it's not gonna get cheaper. I scored a mini Pochette before the increase though here in Texas. They got 2 available at that time but I can only afford one.
I live in Vegas and was able to get the PA in Monogram last night! I know with the recent price increase, others can beg to differ but I think it’s worth buying because it’s such a timeless piece. They’re hard to get but keep trying!

It’s a little frustrating but I once saw it in stock at 7pm EST. I waited and luckily, my SA reached out last night and I had to get it. In the past, I’ve called Customer Service and asked which boutiques have it in stock. These tips have helped me in the past. Hope it helps you!
If you absolutely have your heart set on only monogram, that may have been a good move to save your money for what you REALLY want. Check forum.purseblog.com, and find the "What are you stalking today" thread under Louis Vuitton. They will tell you when the PA is in stock online!
And you're right, sometimes preloved sites hike up the prices because they know it's in demand...definitely worth buying new instead if you can find it!
