Thank you for playing clean . Too many presenters play through several pedals to embellish the tones . this particular ST-57 sounds better to me than the new batch of ST's which H-B is putting out. Cheers!

The Fusion is a modern guitar with a fuller sound spectrum. It doesn't try to emulate the coloured (limited) tone of the 50s the way the ST-57 does.

Great thorough and clear review! 👍🏻 I like the tone of the neck pickup on this. Strat trems and tuning... I have a new Player Plus Strat with the 2 point trem which is still not holding tune. Really annoying! I have a Harley Benton SC Custom with Floyd Rose tremolo and the tuning on that is bomb proof. I suppose if the tuning doesn't settle down, one could hard tail the ST57? Seems a shame though, as the Strat tone with trem is lovely 😎🎸

Tuning issues come from binding in the nut and under string trees, NOT from the floating bridge. Lubricate these parts, make sure the strings are not thicker than the nut slots and you'll be fine.
On a 6 point bridge, the front screws need loosening to allow for the plate to pivot freely.

I had this Guitar and it felt nice, like my Fender Player Strats. But a flat radius with stagged Singlecoils is stange.

It's weird that Thomann chose 350mm for the radius, while they kept the frets at 21 and the horrible 6-screw "vintage" tremolo bridge.
I would have preferred a 10" radius, 22 frets and the modern American Standard-style 2-point tremolo.

Indeed, the radius feels a bit strange...at least not strat-like.The temolo doesn't feel that bad, but I'd also prefer the 2 point trem...

I had a horrible experience with this guitar. ruclips.net/video/5C2us_KSqq8/видео.htmlsi=Lu5s5BZekQ02bxUh
but I saw you also struggling with the Harley Benton ST junior. I bought one for travel, and I got it actually stay in tune! changed tuners to Kluson (35euro)and a tusk PT 5000-00 topnut, 0.10 Ernie Ball Slinky's then the intonation and it stays in tune! Watch out with bending, it still goes weird! Rock on! You seem honest. Greetings from your neighbour country Holland
