I also had my first baby last year. And I had these same thoughts as you. What helped me the most was praying and asking the Lord to help me, in the middle of the night when I’m nursing, midday when I have a bad attitude. Remember that all babies are different and the next time around you have a built up tool kit to care for your baby. You CAN do it (if you want to have another babe). A sibling will be a special person for your Noelle. Give it to the Lord and pray about it. We know you could do it. Keep your eyes on Him and away from the world (other influencers, social media perfection, self doubt etc). ❤
Praying constantly and out loud is what got me through my second’s early days. I remember back then, I kept saying 2 kids was more than enough. I’ve had 2 miscarriages since then so maybe God agrees.

As you stated you won’t get over it but you learn to live with it. 8 years later with other animals she remains fresh in my heart and head. My children both slept like yours and it was SO tough. I thought I’d never sleep again. Now they are 9 and 7 and those sleepless nights feel like a lifetime ago. It will get there just takes a looong time for some of us. You are doing amazing ❤

Motherhood is the craziest hood I’ve ever been in 😂 I had a miscarriage when my son (7) was about 1 and we finally got pregnant again when he was 3. My son was also diagnosed with autism and ADHD 2 years ago and my daughter is now 3 and people keep asking me too when we’re having number 3 and I am so comfortable and confident saying WERE DONE lol. Steph, I was a one and done mama. The pressure is crazy but it’s truly ok to be the type of person who wants only one. Or none. We feel so complete just the three of us. So don’t let your decision be impacted by others. It’s sooo hard. One child is plenty. I’m an only child too and I created deep friendships that are family.

I hate that pressure! My girl is 5 now and I love her so much, but her baby stage was SO rough and she DOES NOT SLEEP. Like, she can go for 12+ hours on 3-4 hours of sleep.. it's hard! I just remind myself that she doesn't know what it's like to have a sibling and there are SO many positives to having one baby.
Same... my daughter is almost 2.5 years old and I am just beginning to recover my sleep. You're not the only one. I get pressure from people we randomly meet saying "time for another baby" and I am like ... no... I will die... lol. I’m more of the same boat situation where my first baby, 11 months, has been difficult… Not a good sleeper either… but I know in my bones I want more babies. But it just won’t be while he is a baby himself (in denial he’s about to be a “toddler” haha)
But seeing so many influencers pregnant again can also make me feel “holy crap, what am I doing wrong?!”
But we really don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes and it’s not a fair comparison ❤
I feel like our "first baby" experience was very similar, and I, too, am ONE AND DONE. My child is now 4, and I still can't imagine a 2nd child. You're doing great mama! 😊

I felt the same way and saw a lot of my favorite influencers having babies. Now I feel better and I just celebrate through their joy of having another baby. I think to myself that I’m not the one raising their baby, so it shouldn’t affect me. Everyone has different babies and I appreciate you for talking about your experience. I don’t hear much about that side of motherhood. Thank you for that and I send you my condolences for Rosie. I have a pug, and she’s 10 years old. I know it’s not easy to go through a loss, because they’re a family member & our best friends. 💕
Had my daughter around the same time you had Noelle and the "when's the next one?" questions are never-ending. I really love giving her all of my attention and wouldn't want her to have to share with another baby because she is still a baby! But, I can relate to the pressure as far as seeing other influencers having their kids back to back. Do what's best for you and your family! ❤

I am glad you’re talking about your struggles with being a new mom. Wish more people would be honest about what they’re going through. I had a very hard time trying to figure out this new version of myself cause I definitely was not the same person and I did question myself thinking there was maybe something wrong with me but that couldn’t be further from the truth. All babies are different so all moms are going to have different experiences and some will be harder than others. I think just speaking your truth and venting to friends and people around you that make you feel safe is all you can do. I promise it will get better with time. Also tips for flying I would buy some new small toys or things they might like and hide them in my carryon and then as they get bored I would take one out and then when they got sick of that I would take something else out. Ha kept her occupied for a while.
I had 7 yrs between my girls and it was awesome.

My son just turned 3 last week and I am 15 weeks pregnant now with my second.. it took 3 years for me to want to do that again 😂 I'm having a scheduled c section for this one and I already have scheduled to get my tubes removed while they're in there. So don't feel pressure because of other people. Everyone does their own thing. It also took me 18 months to feel normal after my son. I lost the weight but my body looks so different compared to what it did pre baby even though I weighed the same. I know after this baby comes in October I will be focusing hard on myself knowing that I will never be doing this again hahahaa. I had HG with my son and have it again with this one and had the emergency c section with my first so I said yup. I'm good on not doing this again.

They do become family and it’s so incredibly hard to lose them 😢 just know she is over the rainbow bridge, safe and very loved. Girl we are ALL struggling! My baby’s sleep was always a struggle too. She’s over 2 now and still doesn’t sleep at night - it’s been better since she’s been able to walk to our room and cosleep. You don’t have to have another! And know that research says 4 years is the best age gap - so you have TIME! 12-18 months was some of the hardest sleep. You’re doing amazing 💕

she's now 4.5 and just had my 2nd and to my surprise this baby is so easy. nothing like the first at all. dividing myself for 2 is so hard though. I cannot have another. i'm good with these
I only have one daughter but I wish I could go back and have another one so they would have each other in school and in life. if you’re feeling overwhelmed now it definitely gets easier as she becomes older and starts school. Wait a year or two and see how you feel. Don’t forget to take a break from time to time!

Please don't let yourself feel pressured to have another baby, same thing happened to me, my first son was so hard, (his sleeping habits sound like Noel's) I was so sleep deprived and got bad postpartum depression. Anyway, I finally got convinced to have another baby, that pregnancy was harder, he was born severely premature and also turns out both my sons are autistic and I love them but it's not easy, specially if you don't have a support system like a very involved husband and family to help. Not trying to scare you just saying don't do it for others, only when you feel ready. ❤

My son is two now. It has been a struggle and just now I feel like I’ve regained my sense of self. He was also a baby that we literally couldn’t get to sleep for long periods. I love my baby dont get me wrong but its so important for us mamas to make room for us too. My advice is to wait until Noelle is atleast out of diapers.

Baby plane hack: have her drink a bottle or suck on a binky when you take off and when you are landing. It's the pressure with the change in elevation that causes most littles to cry (outside of all the other normal crying, of course).

My kids are 3 years apart and my first was extremely difficult. I’m never on board with having kids so close together. To each their own but your body needs rest, and your babies need time with you.

So for some reason us women don’t feel like we can be honest to each and admit when it’s bloody hard !
Here to say my baby is 20 months and I’m pregnant and it is so hard and my girl is like Noelle and sleep is HARD. But we just hired “hey sleep baby” as a 1:1 support situation and I’m praying it helps!! Also they aren’t sleep training people so that’s why we finally felt good about hiring some help!!

Let me just say that the fact that LEDDA hasn’t yet been put in Sephora, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom or the like is absolutely appalling because it certainly deserves the platform and the prestige of any well known powerhouse luxury fragrance brand in any of those stores. But the fact that it’s not yet widely available also contributes to the Niche feel of your brand. I would never knock someone else product but let me just say that there are a number of influencers and Celebrities who products are in those stores whose products don’t have the craftsmanship or heart that your products have. I’m thinking if one individual in particular whose fragrances are so mediocre yet they sell her entire line in Sephora. I personally love your fragrances and I believe that LEDDA could compete with any Tom Ford, Jo Malone, or Killian fragrance any day. Can’t wait to smell the new launch. Maybe we are crazy and people tell me all the time how that’s crazy to have another baby now but it’s not their life so don’t worry if you only want one kid or want 5 kids, it’s your life girl! I thought I would be one and done haha but my IUD had other plans. Got pregnant with it in me, so it was an emergency when I found out. So now I'm two and through lol. Then my tubes got immediately tied. I do looove them both now. Sleep exhaustion is hell.
