It would've been cool if the Horsemeat pedal looked like it was made out of horsemeat. I'm giving that idea to PRS for free, hopefully they'll do a special edition in the near future.
That's so crazy it just might work.
T. Jauernig already did a pedal called the Bombastortion that looks like a piece of meat.
DOD already did that with the meat box.
Then tescos can stock them too
Great job on the presentation from JP. The pedals sound great.
Nice demo John!
Thanks for the vid! The compressor sounds incredible! I would probably find hard to turn it off...
As Paul said in his video, he had just bought a Klon to see what the fuss was about. He loved it, but instead of reversing the circuit, he was inspired to make something to do similar things. So Centaur -> Horsemeat.
I think not knowing the pedals in depth did not hurt because the playing and tones were great. Nice job. I think they sound very good.
that's the first flanger pedal that I like! sounds very good
Sounds great. I'd get all 3
Brilliant marketing by PRS. Love it or hate it, that name is creating buzz. And that's what they wanted.
Horsemeat is a phenomenal name for a pedal.
When is the donkeypunch reverb coming out?
Or the MuleKick
Wow, thats a PG video in a while that impressed me a lot. I didnt get the magic neither of the Silver Sky nor of this amp so far, but in combination with the horse meat… 🙏
Do people know what Germanian diodes are & how they work, what they do? This OD pedàl is awesome in just about every way.
That dual flanger sounds so lush.
How do you get that stereo sound on the guitar recording?
Bought the Horsemeat because it's actually awesome, but also...I love the risk taking f*ckery that has everybody up in arms over the name. Respect!
Kinda disappointed they don't have real wood veneer tops.
Horsemeat = Klon Killer = best save on behalf of PRS 👌😁
Oh - didn’t get that until you said it 😅
That's actually where the name comes from.
I am trying to remember when was the last time that PRS did something truly original...from Marshall clones to Strat copies this decade is going strong
I only ever play the first 59 seconds.
I'll stay with my Fulltone pedals..
Someone obviously loves SRV ☺️
can’t wait for that drive pedal to meat my Princetons
Ordered a horsey to fly in the silva sky.
The Pedals Sound Great, But the Amp Sounds Amazing.
Let's see if these end up on Mr Mayers' board, if they do they're gonna sell like hot cakes! And even if not, these deserve to sell well as they sound really great.
They won’t
Without copying any existing Centaur clever names for clones, let’s hear all the names better than horsemeat: golden mare, straight arrow, flowing mane, golden pastures, horse shoe, the Neigh, bareback rider, I’m bored
Frau Blucher.......the name terrifies horses 😉

The horsemeat sounds way better than a mcdonald's burger in my opinion.
It's somewhat unfair that PRS wouldn't let you bring yours out until they already did their own RUclips demos :D
capitalism
It is standard practice in many fields for reviewers to get early access to new products to test/review before they are publicly announced.
@@AeroPR Yes, I've seen that quite a bit. The big smily face at the end of my comment indicates I'm not taking this very seriously. I'm subscribed to PRS's channel, so I saw the PRS videos about these pedals first, just before the others had been allowed to release theirs. The PRS videos are very well thought out with thorough demonstrations of the features plus Paul's inputs on where the ideas came from and what his favorite settings were. That stands in contrast with the videos made by others. For example Phil McKnight wondered aloud if PRS was punking him and the pedals and/or their names were not real. The situation seemed "unfair" because RUclipsrs known for being thorough and precise ended up looking a little silly just because PRS had a head start of several months.
All is good, and the flanger in particular looks fantastic! Not sure I could justify $350 for it... but I'll lust after it.
Prs made these pedals too big. Totally unnecessary nowadays with smaller circuits on printed circuit boards. Not enough room left on my pedal board.
It sounds like you need a bigger pedalboard, Tony?!
Nothing about any of these pedals would make me buy one and replace the pedals I already have.
Not even the really cool name Horsemeat,
Are you seriously going to every video about these pedals to make the same comment? Your subjective opinion has been noted... at least 3 times.
@@tacdoc8736 spread the word.
WTF is PRS thinking calling a pedal horsemeat? I suspect PETA will have a say....
You're just jealous you didn't name a pedal horsemeat first.
Do you even know what PETA is short for?
People
Eating
Tasty
Animals
🤣🤣🤣
Puck FETA. O another note, yes, it is a ridiculous name.
They’ll just rename it and the internet will swear the originals sound better and cost 10x more.
You're not wrong. Horsemeat is a terrible name.
At least Paul didn’t name the pedal “man meat” lol
He might as well have…
Yeah no thanks.
The names are obnoxious.
I hate the names of these pedals just me?
