Excellent explanation, what matters is how you apply brakes. Two important points in disc brakes, first apply the left brake (rear brake) and then give a mild press on the right brake, and you will never fall or skid, The second important point is whenever you are applying brakes, especially emergency brakes, make sure your bike or scooter is at a straight angle, the handle is pointed straight with the rear wheel, 95 % no chance of skidding, many panics, and apply brake when the handle is slightly to the left or right then the pressure is not balanced. It leads to bike skidding, especially on wet roads. It has happened with me. Look at how slow the bike was at 2:56. I bought a new bike with drum brakes.

Disc brakes are always best and reliable in any situation...but if oil level is not maintained and if some oil leaks on rotor then braking becomes tough
