Hi Granny Pat! Don't be hard on yourself about your video mishap today. It is frustrating but it happens to us all and at all ages. Video was a good one and you got a lot covered. Fun to watch and listen. Walmart has storage containers of all sizes and they will ship to you. I just went online and ordered some and delivery was prompt and on day promised. Good prices. I loved your show and tell items. You make all things interesting. As we get older we need to down size but I want to keep my stuff. I have lots of things that are precious to me. So, I am keeping things. My "stuff" gives me great enjoyment. Naps are good and keep us refreshed. 😊 Good to see you today. Your smiling face is a sure sign we are in for a treat. Hugs. Nancy from IN 😊❤

***So many of us truly love you. I love you and I’m beyond thankful for you and your videos. My husband passed on March 17 2020 unexpectedly. Than my dog passed unexpectedly the day before Father’s Day 2023. Recently on April 14 I was on my way to see my mom. I had just talked to her 40 mins prior to me getting to my parents house. My dad picked me up cause my car was down. When we walked in we found my mom on the floor. She passed unexpectedly. I did cpr on both my husband and my mom and called for help. I was a medic and I couldn’t save them. I suffer severe anxiety since my husband passed over 4 yrs ago and it’s just gotten worse since my dog died and my mom. I know I’ve told you this before…however I want to tell you again how much your videos help me in many ways. Thank you granny Pat.***

I have my MOTHER’s butter mold. It’s round and it makes a pretty flower on the top of each round mold of butter. She always loved giving fresh butter to her close friends and family who didn’t have cows. She and dad moved into town after several years on the farm. They’ve been gone for many years and I’ll be eighty soon, however we’ve kept the farm! It’s now been in our family for over 90 years! After I’m gone, I’m sure my children will sell it, and they should, as none of us even live in the state where it’s located!

Some time ago I watched your video where you shared about your red English Abbey dishes. Today, before you mentioned them I was admiring them on the wall behind you. Not long after seeing the first video, I was spending a rainy afternoon at one of our local antique shops, and saw on a bottom shelf a small vegetable bowl with lid for five dollars! I couldn’t pass that up, and thought maybe I could add a few pieces to it to display with some other green dishes. Well, I think I got the last green one in captivity! I keep looking everywhere I go, and no green English Abbey😟!

My frother was too weak for eggs. I like the frother aside from frothing milk it’s good for mixing vinegar and oil for salad dressing forget the word to break down oil. It does that well. ❤kitty

    Hi G Pat!🕊️🌷
You know, you are the 3rd person today who commented to me that they are having issues recording videos, texting, or using their computer. They all say they keep losing connection. But 3rd times the charm, right?😀
I go for walks through the woods now and then. Right now the wild blackberries are coming in. Now, for those who are not aware, blackberry bushes are THICK with thorns! I wasn’t prepared today to pick the berries but I couldn’t pass up all those big dark ripe berries along the path. I just knew the deer would get to them before me. So along the path there is a dog park that has those little doggy poo bag dispensers. I think it’s ridiculous to expect people to pick up dog poop in the wooded areas. I mean the deer and other animals do their business along the path, so whats the difference? I don’t have a dog either. Oh well, I digress. Anyway, I grabbed a little bag to hold the berries in. The first few I picked were right along the path and easy to get to but don’t you know that big juicy ripe ones were further back…through the thorn bushes and poison ivy. I stood there and stared at them contemplating whether or not it was worth the flesh and blood I would leave behind on the thorn branches. I came up with my plan. I would take hold of a branch of another bush that had no stickers or thorns growing up within and alongside the blackberry bush. I’d use that push away the thorny branch while I carefully pulled the berries up and away from the bush. Well, it worked fine for about 30 seconds…till the leaves of the plain bush snapped free allowing the thorns…all 1000 of them…to impale my arm. But I would no let go of the blackberries in my fingers I had just picked. No, it was costing me blood now! I slowly retracted the thorny branch out of my arm and was backing out from the bush when other thorny branches caught the back of tshirt. “You’ve got to be kidding me” I grumbled. I looked to my right down the wooded path and there stood a whitetail deer about 25 yards from me staring at me. I did not know deer could laugh till today (it was a doe). I concluded I had 2 options; I could slowly extract the thorns from my back slowly or just duck down and pull all at once, like ripping off a Bandaid with one yank. I went with the latter. I drove home with my berries, threw them in the sink and proceeded to sop up the blood from my arms and pull out any remaining stickers and thorns. My husband looked at me covered in sweat and all tore up and asked, “what happened to you?!” I replied, “I wanted some blackberries with my yoghurt for breakfast.” And just like that he said, “next time let me know and Ill run to WalMart and pick you up a container”. So I understand “hissy fits”. Your was because of your video failing to record. Mine was because of a man who doesn’t have the sensitivity and wisdom to know when not to speak.
    God bless his little heart.
Have a good day G Pat and thanks for showing us your new things! Another great video!

Luckily I wore my hiking boots (with shorts no less) and they seem to have warded off the chiggers. I tried my best to stomp down the weeds before “going in”. Driving home, I couldn’t sit back cause of the thorns still stuck to the back of my tshirt. It would have just impaled them deeper. So I drove sitting upright and close to the steering wheel. I need to find those elbow length fence mending gloves…you know the ones they used to fix barbed wire fencing. I think that might help a bit. And YES, we have those tiny deer ticks! Of course none of that common sense has a chance against the sight of those big ripe blackberries just hanging there dripping off the branches, begging to be picked! 😄
