Hi Granny Pat! Don't be hard on yourself about your video mishap today. It is frustrating but it happens to us all and at all ages. Video was a good one and you got a lot covered. Fun to watch and listen. Walmart has storage containers of all sizes and they will ship to you. I just went online and ordered some and delivery was prompt and on day promised. Good prices. I loved your show and tell items. You make all things interesting. As we get older we need to down size but I want to keep my stuff. I have lots of things that are precious to me. So, I am keeping things. My "stuff" gives me great enjoyment. Naps are good and keep us refreshed. 😊 Good to see you today. Your smiling face is a sure sign we are in for a treat. Hugs. Nancy from IN 😊❤

Hi G Pat!🕊️🌷 You know, you are the 3rd person today who commented to me that they are having issues recording videos, texting, or using their computer. They all say they keep losing connection. But 3rd times the charm, right?😀 I go for walks through the woods now and then. Right now the wild blackberries are coming in. Now, for those who are not aware, blackberry bushes are THICK with thorns! I wasn’t prepared today to pick the berries but I couldn’t pass up all those big dark ripe berries along the path. I think it’s ridiculous to expect people to pick up dog poop in the wooded areas. I mean the deer and other animals do their business along the path, so whats the difference? I don’t have a dog either. Oh well, I digress. Anyway, I grabbed a little bag to hold the berries in. The first few I picked were right along the path and easy to get to but don’t you know that big juicy ripe ones were further back…through the thorn bushes and poison ivy. I stood there and stared at them contemplating whether or not it was worth the flesh and blood I would leave behind on the thorn branches. I came up with my plan. I would take hold of a branch of another bush that had no stickers or thorns growing up within and alongside the blackberry bush. I’d use that push away the thorny branch while I carefully pulled the berries up and away from the bush. Well, it worked fine for about 30 seconds…till the leaves of the plain bush snapped free allowing the thorns…all 1000 of them…to impale my arm. But I would no let go of the blackberries in my fingers I had just picked. No, it was costing me blood now! I slowly retracted the thorny branch out of my arm and was backing out from the bush when other thorny branches caught the back of tshirt. “You’ve got to be kidding me” I grumbled. I looked to my right down the wooded path and there stood a whitetail deer about 25 yards from me staring at me. I did not know deer could laugh till today (it was a doe). I concluded I had 2 options; I could slowly extract the thorns from my back slowly or just duck down and pull all at once, like ripping off a Bandaid with one yank. I went with the latter. I drove home with my berries, threw them in the sink and proceeded to sop up the blood from my arms and pull out any remaining stickers and thorns. My husband looked at me covered in sweat and all tore up and asked, “what happened to you?!” I replied, “I wanted some blackberries with my yoghurt for breakfast.” And just like that he said, “next time let me know and Ill run to WalMart and pick you up a container”.
