Let me tell you a story, We went to watch this movie, and the moment Ayushmann (the main character of the movie) hits the can with his stick entire crowd applauded and got confused at the same time. This is prolly the only movie which gives a vibe like you are DOWNLOADING a file and it gives error at 99%. Hands down probably the best thriller and mind bending twist movie youll ever see. (1) The car never stops(notice the tree 17:31) and the doctor says "What is life? It depends on the liver"
    i.e Akash accepted the deal.
    (2) When Akash tells the story to the girl The doctor says "What is life? All depend on the liver"
This subtle change tells us Akash story is made up.
Plus in his story the car stops near the tree (18:54). He tries to reason with the doctor blah blah. He trying to paint himself as the "good" guy
    (3) The bunny cane and the fact that he can see is a dead giveaway that he took the doctor's deal.

Also about the ending: There is a dialogue in the film where Sophie says "Kuch cheeze adhuri hone ki vajah se hi toh poori hoti hai." (Some things are better left incomplete) When I was trying to figure out multiple endings that could have been, I was reminded of this dialogue. I think, somewhere, the beauty of the ending lies in it being incomplete in a sense.

17:32 as per this video is the actual revelation of this story.. saying it all happened as the doctor told akash (ayushman).. but the same scene with the same road.. same tree besides the road appears again.18:57 when akash ws narrating the story to sophie(radhika).. as the director wanted to us to connect the dots.. "Andhadun" which actually translates to "blindly"...referring to akash blindly just made up a story.. of rabbit hiting simi's car.. (as u can see he has a rabbit stick.. which refers to he just made up rabbit story).. however innocent u r .. u cannot tell someone.. that u killed someone to take her eyes and liver.. so akash(ayushman).. had to change the narrative and fake it to the world.. as the last reveling scene... he actually got his eyes back.. but lived his dream of a musician in london. So it no longer matters to him.. to tell all the truth to sophie... yes.. the plot and story is terrific.. but the editing of this film also keeps it engaging.. eg.. the shiva tune playing.. everytime the greedy lady and the doctor wanted to take out akash's organs but in the end.. murli..(her husband)..ends up being in a position to donate his organs.. the shiva in the bg to show its all in the cirlcle.. what goes around.. comes around.. god is watching
