Making this has been an absolute nightmare. This was supposed to be the shortest of these videos I've ever put together. But of course, a moron like me could somehow find a way to make this the hardest video I've ever tried to put together. But I've been wanting to put this together ever since I made my Adam Smasher video. The Firestorm books were some of the best in the Cyberpunk series. It's a shame we never got any real insight into the real raid on Arasaka Tower in CP2077, but I really think this is a story that's going to be told one day (by CDPR or by R. Talsorian). I've been working on these types of videos for a little while, but I'm still working it out as I go. I'd appreciate any feedback I can get:

I don't really have any feedback to give, good video. Regarding Blackhand, by the time of the game, wouldn't he be either dead or really old? What significance would his status bring in the 77 setting? FYI I think he's the most badass character in the setting.

Glad to hear you liked the video. Thanks. As for Blackhand, CDPR and R. Talsorian have both confirmed he's still alive by 2077. In terms of age, it's all but certain Blackhand would be in the same boat as Rogue (old, but still very functional due to cyberware and whatnot). And as for his significance, he was the true mastermind behind the Arasaka attack. Many people would probably be after him for answers. And based on vague hints in 77, there's a good chance he's been involved in something major already during the main game.

Great content my g glad I found u and also awesome to hear that they already said he’s still Alive and that it was his plan to blow up Arasaka since he planted the mini nukes

Dude I've always thought the Firestorm books were cool too. Hoping to actually run them myself soon! It'll be a dream come true if my players can make it to the end of the War >^

Thanks for the feedback. Definitely agree your takes too. I definitely think Blackhand got the upper hand - but given that Smasher survived it's technically a stalemate by most standards. And the bioware described in the tabletop books is something that definitely deserved a lot more attention in this game. It's heavily implied that V starts the game with bioware implants (or gets new ones via some perks), but it's a part of the CP lore that's never given enough attention. And there's almost no way that scene of Rogue catching Johnny wasn't a Firestorm reference. The game confirmed that digital Johnny is just delusional - and I think imagining himself in Blackhand's shoes to a degree was just a way to self-aggrandize.
One thing I didn't like about Rogue catching Johnny though is the fact that it creates a bit of an inconsistency. The game + the creators made it clear that "Love Like Fire and 77's "Never Fade Away" were all just fantasy. The TTRPG books are still canon - and in those, Johnny never fell out of a helicopter. There also wasn't much room to even try to imply this happened somewhere before they attacked the tower that night. But in the Johnny & Rogue ending, Rogue catches Johnny's arm again and says "not again" - implying that this actually did happen.

@@EyeofCenter hell yeah man, the bioware is one of the coolest bits to the RPG. Always a topic worth exploring!
I'm kinda iffy on that bit from the Sun ending too. If I delude myself, I can be convinced it was just in reference to his death or leaving him behind to die again. It's Silverhand's perspective that makes it into something it isn't. Still weird though for sure.

@@lostlicense My personal headcanon is that Rogue was actually remembering an incident where Johnny came home drunk out of his mind and nearly slipped ass-first through the window of their bedroom. Digitial Johnny is just delusional enough to re-imagine Rogue saving him from a drunken stupor as some sort of epic moment.

some guy made a seriously good video called silverhands memorys are lying to us and its basically informing you yes morgan did fight smasher and johnny died in the fight basically johnny is unreliable due to how much the chip went through man i mean techinically if you dig into this theory its so accurate
johnny died on the top of the building
spider murphy captured alts engram made copies and sent them into the net it was the entire reason they went into mikoshi remember this is ten years after alt was abducted they never really thought they would get her back alive murphy used johnny and his anger by telling him alt was their and alive still alt was creating the soulkiller program for them from scratch and altering it as well as doing other things while she was connected to the system
spider got the chip from alt someone the way is unknown to me but covered in the ttrpg where it tells the story of the tower and johnny dies murphy slots the chip into his head that is how we got johnny on a chip, that same chip was in his body which was found in the bunker inside the wrecked tower after the bomb went off by a firefighter who had an obsession with johnny and supposedly she also went and collected some of his personal belongings like his car and his pistol the same ones you get in game
the ttrpg says she took the nuke casing with johnnys body to a person named angel who is heavily implied to be alt in a new body for when she recieves the nuke cassing she opens it sees johnny frozen inside and says "hello my love" and thats where the story ends
basically johnny is not the real johnny just a copy of him that was stuck in a chip while he died
arasaka probably made the memories up to interrogate johnnys ingram to learn all kinds of things hence why you see him escape smasher then fight him again and get his arm blown off then he wakes up being carried out of a nuked building lol cus that makes sense right lol sorry but no one would be alive in the area to carry him out and the head of arasaka def was not even in the city at the time of this event making everything johnnys ingram showed us about that night a lie basically he didnt fight smasher he got crushed by him morgan black hand saved the day and held smasher off so murphy could escape and then set the nuke off.
the lady who found johnnys body found arasakas nuke in the wreckage and disposed of the contents in corana bay and used the nuke case to hide johnnys body before giving it to angel.
hell of a story but so far for me it makes the story you see in game more believable
johnmys ingram is not johnny another funny thing i notice is right at the start of the game when you first fight with johnny in your apt
one of the first things he says out loud is
this is just a copy of me im still out their somewhere i have to be
    and he is.
I believe him and alt are still very much alive.

You're talking about the story segments from Cyberpunk RED. The Fall of the Towers and Black Dog both address the original Johnny Silverhand. I have some theories / general videos I had been working on about those things before things started getting really busy, but the Johnny Silverhand flashbacks in 77 are definitely false. Even in the game, Alt Cunningham will tell V that the memories he/she saw are pure fiction.
It's also kind of ironic that Johnny remembers running away from Smasher and trying to get to a helicopter when the real Johnny actually died charging Smasher head-on and getting shot in half.

@@EyeofCenter the way they described him fighting smasher I believe it lol 😂 what did he say again some “bring it the fuck on” or something when he only had an smg and his pistol and completely got blown in half by smasher with one shot lol 😂

@@ThisiswhyWecanthavenicethings His exact words were something along the lines of "Hey Chromehead! Let's rock and roll!" Smasher being Smasher just watched as bullets bounced off his armoured cyberbody and blasted him in half.
