    Hi Adam, Today I passed AZ-900 certification. Your video was one of the big factors for that success. I also visited your site this morning and review all of the questions. Thanks for amazing series and questions. Unlike many other videos, yours is original with very easy to follow visuals . I will recommend all of your material to anyone who wants to learn something. Thank you very much.

    Hi Adam, thank you for these amazing and well explained videos!
    Logic Apps remind me a lot to Power Automate (when you look at the editor).
    Could you tell me the big difference between the two?
    Is PowerAutomate more like a SaaS & O365 tool, and
    Logic App a PaaS solution with a wider range of resources you could import?

    • @AdamMarczakYT
      @AdamMarczakYT  3 года назад +1

      Logic Apps and Power Automate is the same engine but built to solve different scenarios and have different licensing model. Logic apps are to build applications, Power Automate for quick self service automations.

    • @AdamMarczakYT
      @AdamMarczakYT  3 года назад +4

      Thanks Kuba! You are correct. I think people tend to colloquially say scale up to non-technical audience when we refer to performance increase but in technical terms we definitely talk about scaling out in this case. I should have been clearer as my audience is mostly technical :) thanks!

      Plans are big. My 'shortlist' is getting a tad long, but APIM is in there. I'm just catching up with AZ fundamentals first as I delayed it due to personal reasons. Once I'm finally caught up I want to do APIM, Synapse, and possibly a few others before moving to a new course. :)

      You can collect windows events using Azure Monitor docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/agents/data-sources-windows-events?WT.mc_id=AZ-MVP-5003556 and then create alert which will call a logic app if something will happen. But it always depends on the scenario!

    What are the differences between these services?
    You can call Azure Functions from Azure Logic Apps, and vice versa. The primary difference between the two services is their intent. Azure Functions is a serverless compute service, and Azure Logic Apps is intended to be a serverless orchestration service. Although you can use Azure Functions to orchestrate a long-running business process that involves various connections, this was not its primary use case when it was designed.
    Additionally, the two services are priced differently. Azure Functions pricing is based on the number of executions and the running time of each execution. Logic Apps pricing is based on the number of executions and the type of connectors that it utilizes.
