Such a hard and terrific question! I think that keeping in the spirit of the first films, the next movie needs to be something that has reached a cult like status but may not be so mainstream that it has already been covered to death. It also needs a lead that has pretty much only been remembered by the casual public for that one role. I'm thrilled to give my answer as Life after The Last Dragon!

I think it is a great way to remember some great and almost forgotten movies and actors and also to show some never seen behind the scenes footage. How about "like after Roger " as in Roger Rabbit with the comedian, actor, musician, comedian, and writer, who voiced Roger, Charles Fleischer
As an honorable mention for the Christmas season, "Life after Life" from the movie It's a Wonderful Life with the actress who played Zuzu. Also there's a town in New York called Seneca Falls where Bedford Falls is supposedly based on and each year in Seneca Falls for the past number of years they have an event, museum tour, etc, and have actors dressed and put on a live and perform a radio show with sound effects like they did on old radio shows. And after the movie they actually did a radio show back in the day of It's a Wonderful Life with original cast members. If you want to see/interview, the event in Seneca Falls, NY is in December and you could talk to original cast members from the movie.
