- Interview with Emma Freud originally broadcast around New Year 1988, then re shown on ITV's Final 'Night Network'. This can't have been seen by that many people, it was on in the early hours of the morning, and that was it - no constant repeats, plus channels or RUclips then ;-) Enjoy!

Wow!! So young and slightly naive to the whole being famous, when they said they can’t imagine being lonely. I remember Matt was painfully lonely at times.

Both 19 years old and very nice looking. To me in this video they both seem very much down to earth. And watching videos of them on RUclips from probably how old they are now, they still seem that way.
Obviously they wouldn't be for everybody, but yes, if regard then as very pretty & lovely to look at 😁. Matt, the singer, I believe doesn't have a great reputation, a bit difficult on set etc, but then a lot of actors do.

The dates are wrong. This was actually filmed in 1987 and was one of their first TV appearances after the show had been let down at the last minute by another celebrity and by chance with no one else available they booked a then unknown band.
You're both right & wrong, it is actually pretty obvious. The original interview as mentioned by Emma was 87, but this showing is part of Night Networks last show, which was in 88.

And when they said the press been saying saying the new Wham-But Bros where a 3 piece at this time so made no sense + then she mentions Craig later on
