Waow. Here from Wranglerstar. Just watched the whole season 1. Crazy experience ! Amazing view. It makes me want to go back to Namibia and visit more of the east. Now... back to exams ahah
The Toyota Prado was sold in South Africa with 2 fuel tanks as standard on all models (2002-2009), 90 liters each, so 180 liters total from the factory. On the Petrol motor v6 4.0 that gives a range of about 1200kms standard. No need for outside tanks or jerry cans. It really is great for a standard vehicle, and saves all the hassle of aftermarket fuel tanks.
Thanks ,good info , we have a rear bumper that carry two jerry cans . Wonder if I can use your method rather than lifting the cans to fill the trucks tank?
i may be a bit late with this, and i know this is more room for failure. but why isnt there a kinda 'tap'system on the bottom of the Titan Tank, where you can connect a hose and use the weight of the fuel to come out? Not reliable enough?
Front bumper w/ winch and light combo + rear tank bumper + rear fuel tank + steel wheels + replacement roof top camper + second battery +.... You are one heavy jeep! What's the L/100km fuel usage like?
You're right! If I could change one thing about it, I would make it lighter! The last time it was on scales in Togo it was 6159lbs with half a tank of gas, half a tank of water and me in it! On paved roads I can manage 12L/100. On OK gravel it's more like 14L/100
@@TheRoadChoseMe 14L/100km is still fantastic! I routinely get over that with a diesel CRD jku on sand tracks....not dodging big game like you though. Keep at it!
Oh, in the sand and mud it will touch 20L/100 , which puts a big dent in my total range.. I can scape 600km when I carry 135L on the really, really remote tracks.

I'm sure you can! The bottom of what you're draining just needs to be higher than the Jeep main tank, which is easy to do
Is your license plate from the Yukon Canada. Great video
Yes it is!

No, that's not legal in containers that carry gasoline for environmental and safety reasons (can leak)
😎👍
