- @Dean_Trips climbs Petit Piton mountain in St Lucia with his wife and guide. The guide goes by his trade name "Walking Tree" and is extremely helpful on this challenging climb. Walking Tree can be requested by booking through Deighton at 1-758-721-0949 and this number can be reached through WhatsApp. The hike, which is more of a climb measured nearly 4 miles (6.33km) total and took us just over 4 hours to complete roundtrip including rest breaks. thnks for the video. I want to go to St Lucia and this made me realize that I got work to do to get ready for a hike like this.
Thank you - yes, this hike was more strenuous than I thought it would be, we were both pretty sore the next day! It was totally worth it and a highlight of our stay on St Lucia.

That looked rather challenging and although in great shape at age 65, I will live that experience through your video. 🙄
Not going to lie, this was one of the hardest hikes I've done and I would consider my self fit. The guide I was with was a legend, he was not even breaking a sweat!

i went on vacation to St. Lucia a few years ago and asked the people at Soufriere if anyone ever hiked Petit Piton. i was amazed when they told me that yes, because the mountain is so steep and looks like slippery rock. i'd never try this, so much respect to all of you for doing this.

Thank you! What brand? I've had a hard time finding gloves to fit my hands. My husband and I are climbing both Pitons in March of next year.
You will have a great time there in March! My wife uses Specialized cycling gloves, but she may have used another pair on that trip. I'm sorry I cannot remember the specific brand.

I love adventure but not this type. The fear of snakes and falling would deter me to make this challenging climb.
