Hey Dani , Love your Vegas videos. My wife and I stop here every year on our way home, love this place. If you have any more hidden gems please do some videos, as we are always looking for fun stuff to do in Vegas!
Glad this place is moving to the Strip next to the Harley Davidson dealership across the street from the Welcome To Las Vegas sign. They deserve more exposure.
We visited the Pinball Hall of Fame in May / 2017 and we really liked it because it brings the nostalgia of the arcades of the 80s. On my return to Vegas in Oct / 2019 I put Pinball back on the script. I exchanged 20 dollars in 25c coins (the machines only accept 25c coins and the games vary from 0.50 to 2 dollars). We took some pictures to remember the visit and also publicize the Hall of Fame for free on our travel blog to the United States. When I was going to play at the Transformers Pinball, an older employee (maybe even the owner) came all arrogant and aggressive saying he couldn't shoot or take pictures. He said with total rudeness that the place had three rules (none of them were written at the entrance, next to the machine for exchanging banknotes for coins): one of them is that it was forbidden to take photos because the machines were his property and the photos could not go for internet. He threatened us saying that if we took more pictures or stayed in the establishment without playing, he would call the police. I also said that parking is not "free" and only for customers. A player who was at our side was also startled by such ignorance from the attendant. If you didn't want us to take pictures, you could politely ask that there would be no problem and also install notices on the door and on the machines prohibiting photos. With the arrogance lost client, we will not recommend Pinball to anyone and report the terrible treatment on our blog. With this treatment to customers it is explained why in 2 and a half years the place is the same and until today it has not been to the strip. A third of the machines stopped and in the middle of Colombo's holiday had almost no one in the place. We didn't want to argue, we got in the car and went to play at Circus Circus' Midway that the only rule was to have fun.
I've driven by there and wanted SO DANG BAD to go in there, but never had time. Hopefully next visit I will have a half day free to check it out. Thanks for the inside scoop.
Another great video Dani! Back in the early 70's when I was in high school in L.A. I spent way too many hours hanging out at the pool hall with my friends playing pinball. The best games then were XOX, and Playboy And the games only cost 10 cents, lol. Good times, Stay safe, see ya next time.
Those pinballs banned in NYC and those other locations were flipperless PB’s. You had to delicately hit the machine to help the ball into the desired hole without tilting the machine. If you made the desired hole which was comprised of several other holes forming a specific pattern you were paid off by the proprietor. In the 60’s flippers PB’s were we’re much more common without the house payoff. Of that didn’t stop wagering among a group playing this newer form of pinball. Theses newer flippered pinballs could accommodate up to four players.
Pretty cool place! Brings back memories of when I was in high school (when arcades with pinball and video games were around). We'd hang out for hours in these places. I was never really any good so I'd just get drunk and watch my friends play...speaking of "fun facts"...there is a picture of me in our yearbook (1982 version) smiling at the camera playing PacMan drunk off my a**….kinda surprised THAT pic made it into the yearbook being that it is VERY obvious I'm smashed. I can only theorize at this point but I believe it was because I was friends with the yearbook photographer, lol. Keep the videos coming! Maybe try to check out some of the properties on the "Boulder strip" area? I hear the latest stats show they have the loosest slots.
Hi, I always want to go there and thanks for doing it. Maybe the Slot Machine Museum next? I actually know the guy that has 1 of the 3 original Fay slot machines. I think his is the only one working. I think the people watching your channel would find it interesting. LOL
I'll have to go see if they have Terminator 2 and Funhouse. And there was a racer one where the ball goes up a ramp and starts spinning laps super fast.
The hardest. Pinball Machine to win a free game on was a Gottlieb machine called “Slick Chick” I beat every machine I ever played but no won could beat “Slick Chick”.
The Pinball Hall Of Fame is pretty cool. I went there last week and played a few games along with buying a bag of popcorn for 25 cents. They have a lot of old games and a lot of new games, so there really is something for most people. As I was leaving, I found a Star Wars themed pinball machine with a credit. 😂😂 Thank you to whomever left the credit.
The PHoF is next to an empty lot they own, next to section 8 housing, and next to a building falling apart with a happy-ending 'massage' parlor. Every morning (when nobody is looking) the asian gals that do the 'handy work' at the massage parlor toss out their 'wares' in the dumpster near to the west white wall of the PHoF. I believe all these are reasons that the PHoF is moving, apparently to a new 5-10 million dollar facility next to the Las Vegas sign, and the largest Harley Davidson dealership in the WORLD on the strip.
So I read that they will be moving soon. There was an article on the RJ. Link here www.reviewjournal.com/business/pinball-hall-of-fame-to-move-near-south-end-of-las-vegas-strip/. Oh, another great video Dani
I appreciate the museum saving machines but most are after the mid 70's and not the same as the 50 - 60 machines. To many where over looked. You are young and don't know better. Would you ride this roller costar? ruclips.net/video/0PlVpSSotik/видео.html The "Comet" is the best coaster I ever road. I love air time. Originally the "Cyclone" was for the insane especially because they did not have the safety features of today and was not so good for your neck. They redesigned the coaster because people would no longer ride. The Comet is now rebuilt in Upstate NY. The park it is in sucks but the coaster is worth the trip.

Thank you for watching! It was a lot of fun.
If not mistaken, I think pinball machines are prohibited and viewed as gambling (also prohibited) in Boulder City.
As a kid I used to love the baseball game at 2:34
Cool I love pinball!😀

How do they stay in business with so few customers?
It's next to a massage parlor!
