Unless you are Indigenous or Native American, this is disrespectful as hell. You would NEVER let a dream catcher touch the ground, but I guess as a non-native you wouldn't know that. I don't appreciate my culture and heritage being used in this manner and I really hope this gets taken down. Shame on you.
She’s Hungarian 😢 I am not indigenous or Native American, but I was taught when I was younger of the respect of dream catchers. While the costume was already problematic, when she TORE OFF the net & feathers and THREW THEM ON THE GROUND I was shocked 😭 So shameful and 110% unnecessary. I’m so confused why she felt the need to taint an otherwise beautiful performance with doing all that??? I guess one could try to argue the symbolic intent (which becomes a trash argument real fast because she clearly didn’t understand the symbolism in the first place), but regardless of the intent the entire costume and dreamcatcher “prop” was hella ignorant and disrespectful so intent really doesn’t make up for any of it :( Come on people, please think!!!!!
