Looks really nice, man. The color is great for Vietnam. I may be mistaken, but I think this mud/dirt is mostly found in the central highlands. I usually build custom Lego kits instead of models just because I don't like to paint and that sort of thing.

Hi, cheers for comment. In the past when I’ve weathered a Vietnam model with different coloured earth from other areas of the country, I got a lot of comments that I was wrong. To avoid this I just use what people expect I guess. Build what you enjoy. If you do fancy model building my channel tends to no fuss, basic approach.

Hi I do have a few Hueys in my collection but no videos. Closest video I have is the CH53D, I’ll certainly be doing one at some point.
