Absolutely shocked, how scary that a person final moments can be just giving a speech and then shot dead the next moment. I never expected anything like this to happen in Japan. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest in peace Shinzo Abe 🙏 🕊
You’re everywhere.
Yes, shocking seeing this news from the state. Sad! He left bec of an illness. 😔
I saw your post on another video I think about a crime in India
Nothing guaranteed in life. That's why we shouldn't stress about petty things or care what people think.
Just like JFK.

This is so heartbreaking.. you can hear the sadness and sorrow in the reporters voice and movements. This is tragic.
I have no word to speak. R.I.P Mr. Abe. Thank you so much for helping my country (Myanmar).
Sending love and prayers from the Philippines. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is one of the few good and kind leaders across the globe. I remember him visting the Philippines during PNoy Administration and how he has been very supportive of us by extending generous aid to our country. May he rest in peace with the Lord! 💗🙏
Low iq… if Abe had his way you’d be a colony again
Love you from all Taiwan's people, you are a true hero to protect democracy against the evil communist.

Shinzo was a good man, and a great friend and ally to the United States. I hope they find out why this tragedy occurred.
Yes, indeed. I had the pleasure of working for a Japanese company while he was PM. Japanese are Beautiful, Thoughtful people who don't deserve this loss. Peace and Prayers to his
family and Japan 🇯🇵🕊️ He was a Good Person.
*He really was a good man.*
The country has been completely locked down for over 2 years, and the young people have realized they will have no pension and will never be able to afford their own homes. The Japanese economy is broken beyond repair.
I bet the shooter was a millenial.
That's why Japan find guns because of Ally to the america.
@@alfiemandella2258 I got a feeling China CCP behind the murder.
I recall that a Japanese politician was killed by a man with a sword when that politician was making a speech back in the 50s or 60s. I think that the politician was a socialist and the man who killed him was an imperialist.
It feels like a personal loss. We Indians considered him like our own leader. He was a friend to India. Restarted QUAD. Democracy stands strong and solidarity with another great Democracy. May his soul reach to supreme soul. R.I.P Om santi 🙏🙏.

Check out the book “Confessions of an Economic hitman.” Very likely that his assassination was a result of foreign influence. Guns in Japan..?
Deepest respect and condolences to the Japanese nation .
May he Rest In Peace🙏🏻
It's disturbing and disgusting what happened to him. I am glad they caught the person who did it. R.I.P. Shinzo Abe. My condolences go out to his family and to the citizens of Japan.
Yes I also hope instead of put him in jail need to put the offender to death rolls.
Rest in peace Sir! You have done well in this life.
My heart breaks for Japan. A great man was taken from them.

Such a great loss for the people of Japan and in the world... We will miss and never forget him. RIP Mr. Prime Minister 😢…
loss for the us not japan
PM Abe was deeply respected world wide, and by me too ! What a terrible loss. My sincere condolences to his mourning family.
"A brazen act of gun violence."
Ma'am it was an Assassination. The modus operandi is immaterial. (Although point of note: there are basically no civilian owned firearms in Japan.)
It was a homemade shotgun. Maybe even used black powder as the propellant, lots of smoke coming from the barrel after shooting. It was odd to say the least.

Ikr it was a homemade gun anyway
We have warned people many times. You cant disarm yourselves for false sense of security. We also warned people, you ban firearms, evil will have them. We also said you can make firearms with home depot parts. This isnt the first time a person had firearm in Japan.
So sad :'(
"Most Japanese people have never seen a gun being drawn."
How it should be.
That said, sorry for what happened. May the killer be caught and dealt with.
How it should be in Japan perhaps
@Jason Kopf the shotgun is hand made
Yeah, I live in the US where we have constitutional carry and I've never seen a gun drawn.
If you buy gun illegally, or have connections with Yakuzas, I don't think it'll be that hard to buy guns.. every nation has corruption rooted to it's core like every human has his own demon.. Population living in island countries are mostly self centric & violence is in ancestry.. You can't forget Japan has eras of Samurai leaders, who were kind of hitman.. So if you say Japanese people are so innocent, haven't seen guns.. Remember China, Korean invasion, the mass murder they did, & even second world war & you'll know..their government is not innocent..
@Jason Kopf Yes the hand made gun the offender use to work for the Japanese army in the early years of 2000s 3 years in force that's how he got his experience I think.
its a very sad day for whole world, our condolences to his family and japanese people RIP .

I'm shocked and saddened. I can't imagine how grief-stricken everyone who knew him must be feeling.
For something like this to occur in Japan it's just a terrible indicator of a widespread mental & emotional breakdown.
Rest In Pease Mr. Abe. The reaction of the crowd is eerie.
"Act of gun violence" oh please. It was an assassination
Calling it an act of gun violence is about the most neutral possible way of describing it.
For this to happen in Japan is just crazy
What a tragic death. Rest in peace. condolence to the bereaved family and to the people of Japan.
I saw the clip. His bodyguards were all facing forward, as the assassin approached from behind, & he got very close. Their protective detail need better training. Such a pity to lose a great statesman like this.
“Act of gun violence” Japan needs strict gun control laws! Oh wait…

It was a DIY gun that used by the suspect. Totally shocked, he was the most popular prime minister in Japan. I love this man.
This isnt the first time. We have warned people many times. You cant disarm yourselves for false sense of security. We also warned people, you ban firearms, evil will have them. We also said you can make firearms with home depot parts.
@@depthcharge6215 Really dude? Mass murders are consistently happening in US, but because a politician was shot in Japan this suddenly proves your point?
@@depthcharge6215 The alternative of relatively few gun crimes/deaths per year in Japan would be 100s of gun crimes per day like in the US... in order to arm themselves.
Who would choose the alternative? One assassin is not enough to let the streets go wild.

Gotta say the security is really bad at this one. The length between first and second shot is long enough to intervene by the security. It might save him. And how that guy can get so close. There should be security parameter where civilian should stay away a few meters from him. R.I.P Mr Shinzo Abe
救えただろう命か….
could have saved him…
Oh wow! Really! I'm surprised since they used to be very prepared. The shooter is a pro so I guessed he planned it out. I guessed since he used to be in defense he gets to keep his gun.
@@peacelife It was a homemade shotgun made from pipes and wood with batteries to ignite the black powder. I'm not sure what he used as projectiles.
Behind murder , against Abe
You should understand that the gun laws in Japan are extremely tight. While the police might well be trained for this sort of situations, I think it's fair to say nobody expected something like this to happen. The problem with security is that it visibly increases the distance between the politicians and the public.
Instead of calling it a shameless terrorist act she calls it an act of gun violence to further the cause of gun control here in America. She belongs to a group that believes no tragedy should go to waste even though you have the harshest gun control in Japan. Obviously, this gun was not purchased in a store. Absolutely shameless
You think outside the box .👍
Yet the violence was from a gun. calling it gun violence seems rather neutral and journalistically correct.
@@andrewodell4021 it was a homemade gun tho. Meaning that even gun control couldn't have stopped it. So calling it gun violence was correct but it was very clearly to further restrict guns in America. When this clearly proves that the mentally insane will obtain weapons regardless of law which is what every pro gun person has been telling people 🙄
@@andrewodell4021 Lets be honest if someone used a Ford Bronco to drive into a crowd they would not call it car violence would they? Lets do not have double standards and to call out on the tool is a complete escape of context due to an agenda. What if he used a kitchen knife or a bomb? Would they call it knife or bomb violence? Was 911 called aeronautical violence? Andrew please answer to yourself. Best wishes

Our condolences from the United States of America. Rest in peace former Prime Minister Abe.
I would like to know how the shooter was able to get so close to the former PM to shoot him at close range. Doesn't seem like his security detail was paying attention to his surroundings. This definitely should not have happened.
He's a former PM so he doesn't have the security detail of a PM. He only had one bodyguard, there were some Nara police around.
Apparently you don't understand the culture in Japan. An assassination like this had an extremely slim chance of happening in Japan. And yes, note Eddie's comment too.
@@MisterHowzat He was speaking in front of a train station and nearby bus stop so people were moving around quite close and often.
Japan is an extremely complex culture. There is respect, and trust on a level that is difficult to put into words. I dont know if you have lived there or are Japanese. But please do not imply that Japan needs to change the way we do things. We dont want military style police like USA. We dont want police armed like USA. We want access to their politicians. We want to trust our citizens and 99% of the time the trust is there. Crazy people will not scare us. We want our police to be helpful. We have stations on every block. I hope this does not change the way Japanese think. But we are not easily feared into change because of a horrible incident.
Oh my god …. I am so sorry
I cannot believe this. In Japan of all places. Rest in Peace.

His sudden death creates a vacuum in japanese national security. He was the most influencing policy maker for japan domestically and abroad in today japan because of his 4 terms in JP PM position for the past 2 decades until 2020.
