- The Keaw BBQ Kohtao center @ mea haad is situated a few hundred metres from the Clock tower in Mea Haad Koh Tao. The Korean BBQ is Great value for money & a Great atmosphere too. There is generally no need to book, but here is the phone number to make sure you get a table, especially for bigger groups of people. 087 281 4290 or 092 353 6908
Great fun for all the family as you choose what to cook and eat for each individual person. I highly recommend it for something different, and once you have been, you are sure to return there. Our meal for 5 people including food, drinks, and a fresh coconut was only 700 for everything. That's a bargain night out in anyone's books.

It always made me smile how they call it a 'Korean' barbecue, when it's very distinct from an actual Korean barbecue (no kimchi for one). My wife used to take me to one in Lad Phrao which had an interesting gimmick - every half an hour they would bring out a big bucket of live prawns and dump them in a big reservoir of water in the middle of the restaurant which provoked a frenzy of activity among the patrons, all clambering for the freshest shellfish.

That did look very yummy. Sodas like Pepsi and Coke seem sweeter and less carbonated in Thailand, but they still taste good.

I've lived in Korea for 9 years, and that looks so completely different, but way better than what you actually get in Korea. The egg around the side seems like a good idea, I've never seen it here. You got a much wider selection of sauces too! Love the food videos Geoff, keep it up 😃

Always hit the Korean BBQ's in Pattaya, Koh Tao, and Koh Chang. Any time I visit. Multiple choices too. Find your favorite. Great one Geoff.

it is not onley korean been doing this bbq 15years ago in thailand mukdahan it is asian but it looks yummy everytime i am in thailand i am going for this bbq way!!!

Does anyone know if this BBQ is the same as a Moo Kata? It looks very similar so I'm thinking it is, I absolutely loved that thing. Honestly it was one of the highlights of my trip.

Had the exact same thing in Laos where surprise surprise it was called The Laotian bbq . The owner of the restaurant claimed it was of French origin , mind she was French .

There is in Place i eaten many times in Pattaya.They call it moo chum or so. Yuo can com from back of centran and go to bukao, or go behind sweethearts and there you see it. or from a small Alley from Diana almost opposite LK. open at nights so bit dark, but good food and romantic if you like. OnlyTry to find next time, just a wooden shed.

You should cook the broth and veges before you put the fat on. Just a tip.There is a great self-cook place next to Saphan Pinklao.
