This is a great bit, but most important than that, if you watch his material before and after this you can see this is the one where he starts being great. His early stuff isn't bad, but compared to what he became it's day and night. This is the first time where you see he's starting to be an "above average" comedian. And there's another thing you see a glimpse of in this bit that later on becomes more expanded on and clear (specially in podcasts when he gets more serious about stuff), and that's his compassion for humans that are at their worst and the dark and sad side of the human experience. When he talks about making fun of white trash and he says "Ha-fucking-ha!", it's funny, but it's also putting a mirror in front of us and saying "come on, look at who we're laughing at". I don't know if it's better to get to know him through stand up before seeing this or the other way around but if you search for "YMH’s Tom Segura and Christina P Make Louis C.K Cry" you'll find a perfect clip of what I'm trying to say.
There was a definite moment when the switch went on for him. Carlin went through a similar transition. The point when he just decided to let it rip and stop caring about delivering "acceptable" material. Louie has become great in the same way Carlin did.
you just get interest on the money you got in the bank, the more you got the more you get...if you have debt the more you lend the more interest they take, it's totally unjust... if you lend a grand it should just go up with inflation, no other interest should be taken... the bank makes billions by lending the money that "they" have lent from the rich, the poor should not be inflicted with more debt.. It's no ones fault what sort of a life they have been born into...
You get interest on money you got in the bank because they use that money to invest in other companies etc, with the money they get back basically borrowing you’re money you have in the bank they give you a piece of what they made off of you.. thus calling it interest. They wouldn’t just give you money for having money, why would they. They’re a business. When they can’t use you’re money to invest for more money they charge you for holding you’re own money.
Maybe he knew by the time this was recorded because someone heard the bit and explained it to him or he found out on his own after writing it, but sometimes comedians have to either play dumb or lose a good bit. Sometimes they would even do a bit playing dumb because there's more material in the questions than in the answers. The answer is just one but the questions are as many as you can imagine, like the classic "the only thing left from the crash was the black box, why don't they make the whole plane from the same material as the black box?". There's obviously a bunch of reasons, but there's nothing funny about the truth in that case. It's funnier to go "Just put wings on the black box". That's a Dave Allen bit btw.
Beautiful smile...
Thank you 🙏 ☺️
🎅you should check out a British comedian Russell brand or Roy chubby brown comedy Benidorm series or Bernard manning British comedian

I’ve been a big fan of him for years, his humor just resonates with me. It’s cynical but lighthearted at the same time 😂
Could you check out Dr dick by Tom segura?
