@dandybear1 If the car had hit me he would have been nicked... he set off on a green light when his way was NOT clear. I was already making a manoeuvre. So, mr gaybear, should I block the whole junction because ONE car driver is desperate to go on green even when it's not safe to do so?

The driver who had 'the right of way', should only proceed if it is clear and safe to do so, as a green light does not mean 'GO' regardless of any other factors.
