I was on Neilsland Oval and attended Damshot School. I walked up to Braidcraft Terrace for my Mum to the butcher shop and groceries. I usually sneaked in a wee sweetie. The scent of Scottish buns and Scottish square sausage with heaven for me.
Some memories there, my view for years looking out the porthole of 41 brockburn rd at the cop shop and fire station. Then leithland rd school entrance and the shops. Also the chapel hall on crosstob rd where we had disco nights. Thanks for the memories.
@@JohnnysCafe_ it was for scottish water. Its opened back up now but it was a nightmare for traffic at rush hour in the morning and afternoon. Barrhead road where cafe asia is now closed. Not sure when it reopens but the full pollok roundabout is a total disaster these days. They have introduced cycle lanes (that nobody uses) so the traffic is always really bad. Theres no dates or plans when all this work will be finished as its one closure before another.
