Top gas canister is the one that you are emptying into the one at the bottom that you are filling Tony. On mine it has Out and In marked on it with a reducing graph of lines marked in between the two words. I always get my scales out and weigh the one that i am filling too for good measure. Hope that helps

It looks like the collar on that pack is sparse. I’d prefer it to be longer so you could get more than just two folds when closing the pack’s top. Zpacks creates lightweight products. It would be great for them to make an extended collar version. Most people can’t pack their gear as tidy in the field and need a bit of extra collar.

Yes it's impossible to utilise all the space of pack as impossible to do up easily or otherwise not at all. The hmg had huge colar but uncomfortable straps for the weight it could carry
