One another IMPORTANT tip by me: DONT touch the plate! clean it with isopropanol - and dont touch it. the oil on your skin will make spots, where no things stick ^^
I’m sure you’ve figured it out by now, but when setting the temps you can click the number and type it in, as opposed to hitting the + - button repeatedly. Thanks for the video, I’m going to try a higher bed temp.
I have the Kobra Neo model and this solved my issue completely. I guess Anycubic didn't take into account that the magnetic plate would be a bit cooler than the heating bed.
Hey did you figure out cura yet? It's not too bad if it's an STL file you just loaded up in cura and then hit splice and save it to the disc. If you load up the manual from the thumb drive it has some settings that you insert into cura so it works with our printer
Between 5:50 to 7:50; your video remind me of Wang Chung "Everybody Have Fun Tonight". Just kidding, anyway. You set the bed at 100 celsius? Mine is set at 50 celsius. I am going to have to try the z-offset like my daughter said. I am not for sure why it doesn't print correctly, the only setback was: It was damaged during the shipment, when we go the box, it is believed to be stacked by stack or it was tossed by another box.
i hate that printer.........i only got 1 good print off it and i tossed it in the trash....i got a bambu p1p and a bambu x1c talk about night and day........
@@lowtechredneck I am sorry about that, I had on and off with the printer, I intended on buying a new printer: Elegoo. My daughter got me a printer ( Anycubic Kobra). I don't know why it is not doing correctly. It is a refurbished printer. 🙂 Thank you.
I got a Kobra plus and it prints the bird okay, but it’s stuck to the build plate like it’s welded there. Almost impossible to get off. What am I doing wrong?
Hi, my z-offset nozzle won't move up or down. It did when I set up the printer but after trying the owl print, it stopped. Do you have any suggestions on how I can fix it?
check belts see if they are tight. Check power connector to the z offset motor. if its still not working Maby motor is bad. check settings also for the function that disables stepper motors in the settings
has printer ever worked? i have some cleaning filament i use when i get clogged up. heat nozzle to 220 put in like 15inches of cleaning filament and manually push it through see if it works
Really helpful video, thank you! Although… you need to sort out your camerawork to be honest, most of the times you put the camera in the printer screen it is not focused.
Dude, can you help me plz. I am having the issue that the filament comes out perfectly, when you fill it in, but as soon as you start to print it smears a bit on the bed and then nothing comes out anymore... I calibrated everything as in the manual described, I watched videos, read forums. Nothing helps. Maertz filament, same printer as yours and it is brandnew. What do I do wrong?
weird sounds like either nozzle is clogged or nozzle to close to build plate..tbh i got rid of that printer and got a bambu p1p for like 600 bucks. a 9hr print on youre will take 1 1/2 hour on the bambu look it up un you tube still have some problems but it is 1000% better than the one you have

It seems every machine is different it's all in the settings
I sure appreciate it.

Do you have to adjust the z axis every time you print something
in theory no. if the printer gets moved or you do a major adjustment then you need to do it again
Do you recommend this printer to someone starting in 3d?
yes it does not cost a ton and you will have to tweek the settings to get good results
why does it print a weird base thing on whatever I try to print. It’s almost like it prints a brim but it’s not supposed to
I’m having this issue too!
Thats whats its called, a brim, you can change this in slicer settings, built plate adhesion, what you have is brim, you want skirt
kinda like a base plate
What do you do when you hit print and it goes straight to the print finished page and it say total time OHOM?
I had that happen to me a couple of times it's because the file on the mini SD card isn't the correct file type to be read by the machine
how do you get printing
dont understand question
Can you give me file *.3mf of the Owl. Pl!

not off the top of my head have you tried to contact the manufacturer. might need to reformat the sd card also
you need a slicer, cura works best, you need to put stl onto cura to slice it into gcode which will be readable by your printer
@@DavVvidd91 thanks got cura a while ago running smooth
You've probably worked this out by now, but printers read .gcode's, not .stl's. stl's are 3D models, gcodes are the instructions for the printer to follow.
