  • University of Houston students talk about what drew them to UH and the unique opportunities they've found through their college experiences. From their class sizes, to hands on experience and the advantages of living in the fourth largest city, it's a great time to be a Coog!

first clip - feels very rehearsed/unnatural, too much poor hand gesturing.
2nd - construction of buildings signifies that UH doesn't realize there is a revolution going on in online education and classrooms are becoming obsolete in many ways. look at USF where khator and carlucci helped build 9 buildings. google usf debt.
    3rd clip - more vagueness - no specific facts/figures.
4th clip - 'people and environment' - ok the environment is nice, but so is a free park - except people lack the organizing ability to fill a free park with people who want to learn and make something of themselves (aka the 1% of UH.)
5th clip - he had big classes but here at UH has a (single) class with 15 people. i guess it's better than having none.
6th clip - they give you hands on experience by letting you practice teaching. this used to be called an internship and people were paid for it. now you pay for it and gush about the opportunity.
7th clip - lots of student involvement/clubs - the orgs i tried to get involved in ranged from mediocre to terrible.
8th clip - finally someone being real - 'convenience' -he came back to houston and this school was available - a bit of honesty. thanks.
9th clip - unsubstantiated claim that UT students come to houston for jobs, and implication that that somehow matters.
ok i can't take any more.
    hope this was helpful
