That is a nice watch. I remember when I was about 10 years old my father gave me a blue dial, blue watch band Timex. I think that’s what got me started liking watches, blue dials in particular. Very nice watch. Nice video. Thank you.
reminds me of "the fifth" watches, integrating the name/logo in the number five. Except this watch has the number 7 changed. Feels very kickstarter-ish
Timex is on a roll from a styling standpoint. They are also on a roll from an overpricing standpoint. This is a nice watch but not a $300 watch. But hey to be fair Timex has taken my money. I got a Falcon Eye and a Giorgio Galli (the new blue) both at sale prices. I like them both....yet still feel like I paid a bit too much for them even at 20% off. So maybe I'm just overly critical of them because they seem to be selling. Hopefully they keep putting out more automatics.
It's nice! Definitely could have made it thinner with that 50 meter rating. If you look at the way the bezel edge is designed, the crown could have overlapped quite a bit with the bezel, (imagine the entire movement/dial assembly moving up closer to the crystal) ....and thus making it at least 1mm thinner.
NN07 means nothing to me. But, this is a good looking Timex. I like the blue accent. Yeah.. I don't understand why the case is so thick, though? It's using a Miyota movement and it doesn't exactly have super deep WR either.
Get it as soon as you can, once this shows up on Hodinkee your chances of getting one are slim to none and will only be available on ebay starting at $300+ You've been warned.
I can’t bring myself to spend 300 bucks on a watch that has a $15 movement in it… They can’t even get the updated one that has hacking? I like it… I like it for $180 bucks! Thanks for the review Chris…!
You think so? The last few years has seen them experiment with hand winding/autos vintage style designs. Consider their lineup from 5 years ago compared to today and today is much better. Not saying you are wrong but seems like they are reaching out to enthusiasts at least.
@@mrbacchus6127 They once made their own movements, not the best quality to be honest, disposable timepiece really but that seems like a good start for a watch company. As far as I know all their movements are bought now? I could be wrong buy they seem like a company that just assembles watches now, components purchased from other manufacturers. Like I said before , I wish the best for them and hope they come back strong.

I don’t care about the nn07 part but this is great looking.

It's a nice piece. Might get one
Looks very much like many other watches. You wouldn’t recognize it just by seeing someone wear it. Watch with this style has been done many times.

Loving the folded links btw .Old school.
It's a cool watch but thick! 15mm!!!
I wonder if the limited nature of the release will have this piece selling for more on secondary market...
Yes it does
Get rid of the limited edition business strategy and put a miyota 9015 movement and it is great. And provide more color variation.
It's nice!

looks like they are already sold out on timex.com - wondering if we'll see more of this limited edition big brand collaboration releases?
Some second hand stores still have them available. It is at the moment still in stock at nordstrom.com if you are interested
Surprisingly nice looking, but hate the hair pulling band
I'll take 7 !
Looks good but that bracelet looks like a real hair puller.
What's the water resistance? Did I miss that?
50 m
Looks good, 300 is a little cheeky for a 100m "diver" but the lim ed angle adds alot of value and lets face it it's very handsome
I hope they made it quartz and thin, and kept the price low as a consequence
ya man i totally agree
Sweet. Timex needs to step up their movement game though.
Another great looking watch that's slightly too chunky, although I'd like to try it on just to make sure!

Great looking watch 👌
Where do I find this watch looked at the Timex website couldn't find it ?
I didn't mention but it is going to be released on the 25th I believe
If you go to the nn07 webpage they have all the details
@@WatchChris Thanks I found it and signed up , I might just get one 👊

so cool!
It looks great.
Interesting 🤔
Damn timex is really getting it
It's ok.
Honestly, sounds alright but the result is very meh. Also what the hell is an “indexeee”? It’s just Index
Plural of index = indices

Thank you, Chris.
That is a fatty!
Timex is in limbo land. No clear direction of where they are going. A brand very close to becoming extinct, sad. I wish the best for them.

@@omegadun66 If they make movements they are of the cheap disposable quartz kind. I would pay these prices if they were making their own movements
OMG - no , totally overpriced. Every Seiko, Citizen, Orient and also a Pagani is better.
