I love Allison Krause. Really great Fred. I've got thrown a little curve ball, ( prostrate cancer, found in early stages), getting radiationtherapy. Listened to your story about coaching softball. Baseball was my favorite sport ( 2nd base). I never could get good wood on a curveball. As far as this cancer curveball deal, I'm gonna hang in there and keep fouling that curve ball out, even if it comes down to 2 outs, I never giving up. Music has always been my joy, therapy, you name it. Fred, you and I grew up in the greatest time of all to be young and carefree. If you could play a Verlon Thompson song once again for me " If it weren't for you ". I'd appreciate it. My life has been totally complete thanks to my wife of 47 years. This song says it all. Maybe someday we will meet. I feel somehow that I know you through music. You keep playing, I'll keep hanging on and listening. I truly feel like Lou Gehrig, my blessings in life have been many, and I truly am " the luckiest man on the face of the earth". Please, no sympathies, just live your life with great joy and thank fullness. Once again didn't we grow up in the greatest time EVER!! Thank you Fred Keep on playing that beautiful music, Bruce Armstrong
@@brucearmstrong3526 Good morning Bruce--so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Looks like we have way too much in common. No cancer for me but laser surgery for an enlarged prostate 6 years ago and now a visit to my urologist once a year. And baseball was and still is THE sport for me(shortstop). And 57 years with the same gal and counting, Lucky doesn’t even begin to cover all the good things in our lives including the fact that we did grow up in a time that just doesn’t compare to any other. Just as you keep plugging away at that curveball I will keep pumping out the tunes. Good luck in the days ahead and keep in touch Fred in Mesa AZ❤️
Thanks my friend. Cheers from Redwood City!
