hi mike! i've got a few questions. this might sound like such a stupid question but i literally know nothing about in ear systems. 1) If I wanted to get the Phenyx pro ptm 10 or 11 does the transmitter just plug straight into a wall outlet? or are you supposed to connect it to something else?? 2) I'm a singer and I want to get this to hear myself/the backing track live. Do I need anything else? or does this come with everything I need? 3) my drummer wants to run tracks live. Do they need anything else other than in ears, a mixer, and a DI box?
I'm not sure if any of your questions apply to this specific product I'm highlighting in this video (FiFine SC1), but as far as you question about the Phenyx Pro transmitter, you need to plug it into a wall for power of course, but then you also run an output from your mixer/board to the transmitter to send the specific mix you need in your ears to your wireless transmitter.
As far as the backing tracks are concerned. It's really not fair for me to answer for your specific set up, but you'd ideally need a track and click track running in tandem (split left and right) and have the click track running solely to the in ears, while the backing track runs to both the speakers for the audience and to your ears. It can be a complex set up to do, but effective and worth the time for many groups who do it.
I'd recommend watching some videos by the great people here on RUclips who can walk you through the whole process and help you understand what equipment you'd need and how to set it all up for live performance.
@@malonedrum Thanks! 1) so if I bought this system I would also need to buy a mixer for it to work?? would i need anything else? 2) do you have any experience with the xvive u4? if so do you like it??
Hey bro I love your videos.
I am new to the music recording stuff. Incase you wont use this product I would really love if I could have it. It’s quite expensive to get here in Nigeria. Please 🙏 don’t just stash it away. I would really need it
I appreciate your support of my channel. I hope you can understand that it would be extremely expensive for me to ship this out from the US across the world to Nigeria. So unfortunately that's not something I can do, but again, I appreciate you watching the videos, and hopefully you can get started with recording for an affordable costs!

Yh thanks keep up the good work. If you really want to give it away I know cheap ways to get it to Nigeria that might cost about $10 max. I’ll contact you on insta
But again keep making great videos
LOL. "I know the company name, so shut up." "Here's the product, cheap plastic, but hey, what do you expect for $50." "No, I wouldn't buy it personally." "But, why not?! Here's the link...buy it." 🤣
I try to be fair in the reviews. SoI have to be critical of the parts that I don't enjoy, like the plastic build (Which I understands the ability to keep it within a specific price point). I also can recognize that it records clean and clear audio and for people who don't already have higher end equipment, this would be a nice first step to get into recording audio. So my saying "No, I wouldn't buy it personally" was more about my situation and the equipment I already own, as opposed to say it's not a quality product. I hope that makes more sense to you.
