Thank you so much for this video Kat. We learnt a lot from this. We have exactly the same goal & motivations and priorities as you and hope to install a heat pump in 2025. Our house was also built in 1902, is a similar size, has had a new slate roof (awful roofer!) and we are invested with Ripple. The main difference is that our house is a semi in a conservation area in east London. The side wall is our main heat loss but our local council will not allow external insulation, although having declared a climate emergency we live in hope that they will change their mind one day. Living in a terrace house means that you have two side walls that have no heat loss. We're envious!
We also have followed Heat Geeks. They recommend keeping the whole house as one zone and not to control individual radiators. I am doubtful about this, unless the aim is just to achieve the highest possible COP. I noticed that you have TRVs. How do you use these? Are they just to stop rooms getting too hot?
One more question. Did you have to have a separate consumer unit just for the heat pump?

Hi, I'm getting a Samsung R290 heatpump installed next month with the Homely controller and OEM so I'm keen to look at your data. I can't see your heatpump listed on heatpumpmonitor, do you have a link?
