    I recently bought a clay bread baking pan (top not glazed/bottom only glazed inside)
    Bread baking instructions indicate to pre-heat oven before putting pan w/bread in; but clay baking indicates to put clay vessel in cold oven to pre-heat.
    Nowwhat do I do?

      You're not Algerian lmao. you're just a bitter Moroccan who wants to claim shared North African heritage as solely your own. It's pathetic. The oldest known tajine was found in Algeria not Morocco.

    Couple of questions: What is the purpose of soaking it in water if it's to be completely dried before seasoning? And, Does soaking/cleaning it in soapy dishwater impart any soapy flavor to the food? Does the tagine absorb that soapy odor?

    •  3 года назад +1

      The purpose for soaking the pot is to remove al debris that been collected while transporting and handling, and no soapy flavor is felt in the food after cleaning and baking. Thank you for viewing and your question. Cheers!

    Oops I think I used a decorative tajine for cooking. It was glazed both on the outside and inside. I didn't soak it either. I should have watched this video before cooking. It's on the stove right now so I hope it doesn't break or something. I'm still a noob in North African quisine :D

    • @h.c.4683
      @h.c.4683 Год назад

      Its only Moroccan not North African, other North Africans dont cook in tajine..but nowadays because of popularity of Moroccan cuisine, others tried to copy our style of cooking.

    Why are we taking glazed pots and seasoning them like they’re unglazed.. 100% pointless to do any of this… litterly isn’t absorbing anything by doing any of this.

    I don't know how to bring the people of Algeria into the riches of Morocco that close the gate between Maroc and Algeria. Come with the tags that connect the sugar and the salé, the couscous in the corner of Ghazal, and all the tags. , caftans, djellaba and salons in Maroc Il'attribue to Algérie, and I see Algériennes fair in Marocaines recettes, and it says that Algérienne has come to Algeria and that it has sold Algérienne to other people.
