How to Set up for Mackerel Trolling

Me and my dad just caught a limit of bluefish and 3 Spanish down at stone rock. We were using 2 plainers and a spoonbrella. The spoonbrella caught a lot of the bluefish and the plainers caught the mackerel. Mid day bite it didn’t turn on until around 10:30.

do you attach a ball bearing swivel to the lure for easy switch out of colors or size or just tie the lure directly to the leader?

Have to direct tie. Spanish are very tackle shy. Use an improved clinch knot.
